While I cannot go into details, I can say that they fixed an impossible situation that could not be fixed with my account, and I could not be happier! Thanks again GoG!

This is mostly for GoG staffers, but I'd love to get other anecdotes about how GoG did something great!

«they fixed an impossible situation that could not be fixed with my account»

So… it was not an impossible situation that could not be fixed?

Was that impossible situation that could not be fixed that they fixed that you actually got a response from customer service? Why can’t you go into details?
Original post has a plot hole in the story.

If it's true that GOG resolved the situation, then it was, by definition, not actually an impossible situation, contrary to the surely incorrect & invalid assertion in the OP that it was.
Nitpicks about the impossibility aside, I'm glad you got your issue fixed!
Nicely done GOG.
You somehow convinced them to completely remove Gwent or any other title you wanted gone from your library? Even though they time and again claimed it couldn't be done because those titles were added - forcefully (in case of Gwent) or not - to your account for free?

Poe's law makes this indecipherable from biting sarcasm or serious tone.
I've had literally nothing but good experiences with GOG support. People tend to complain about them but of all the issues GOG has, support isn't one of them in my book.

I am a proud breaker of Poe's law in that I'm being genuine! :)

Any details would require personal information that I won't share publicly, sorry.

Yes, me too, thanks for saying so!

Glad to hear some good news on the forum and about GOG. Glad you got the help you needed.
All I can say is...

GOG...you know what you did. Don't try and deny it. You did something. Allegedly.

Then I don’t believe you. I can’t really think of any scenario where you can’t just say what it is they supposedly helped you with, without disclosing ‘personal information’.

E.g. ‘They helped me remove an unnamed game from my account’, or ‘They helped me out after losing my login details’. or ‘They helped me pick a game for a special person in my life.’

Right now, it just sounds like ungrounded placating and praise.

At least we know they won’t try to deny it. They usually don’t respond at all :)

Somebody made a positive comment about GOG. DRAMA. THIS CAN'T BE THE CASE!

It is fascinating how some people come out of the woodwork to spread their negativity. This forum has its collection of really wonderful people. The cherubs are dancing.

He definitely didn't have his achievements and played time wiped. They wouldn't do it for me.
Guys. It's super obvious.

He managed to circumvent ChatBot and get in touch with tech support. All they did was respond in a timely manner, which would be extremely hard if not impossible to prove.
