Darvond: Poe's law makes this indecipherable from biting sarcasm or serious tone.
TZODnmr2k5: I am a proud breaker of Poe's law in that I'm being genuine! :)
Longcat: «they fixed an impossible situation that could not be fixed with my account»
So… it was not an impossible situation that could not be fixed?
Was that impossible situation that could not be fixed that they fixed that you actually got a response from customer service? Why can’t you go into details?
TZODnmr2k5: Any details would require personal information that I won't share publicly, sorry.
PookaMustard: Nitpicks about the impossibility aside, I'm glad you got your issue fixed!
TZODnmr2k5: Yes, me too, thanks for saying so!
Then I don’t believe you. I can’t really think of any scenario where you can’t just say what it is they supposedly helped you with, without disclosing ‘personal information’.
E.g. ‘They helped me remove an unnamed game from my account’, or ‘They helped me out after losing my login details’. or ‘They helped me pick a game for a special person in my life.’
Right now, it just sounds like ungrounded placating and praise.
lupineshadow: All I can say is...
GOG...you know what you did. Don't try and deny it. You did something. Allegedly.
At least we know they won’t try to deny it. They usually don’t respond at all :)
