I would like to see "Icey" released here. It is a combination of a 2D side-scrolling action game combined with the meta narrative of The Stanley Parable.

Panda_Joy: China has the biggest gaming market in the world, and there are hundreds of thousands of new games are made every year. Chinese developers are working damn hard and their works are pretty amazing. There are some well-made games on steam that people really enjoy.

Problem is because of the size of the Chinese market is big enough for publishers and developers to survive. Gaming companies didn't bother to introduce their game to the west. Some legendary works don't even support English.

I wish to start to do marketing service for those well-made games and legendary developers from China.

Would you like to see? Are there any tips you can tell? Please comment!

Anothername: My gaming tastes are not defined by their country of origin but their content. A patriotic shooter called (i.e.) Tiananmen 89 would definitely a big fat red no-go; because I do not play shooters. A third person fantasy RPG with a good character creation/customization based on ancient Chinese myths and traditions would probably end up very high on my play list.
Haha, nice stereotype bombing.
This list might fit your interest.
Chinese Paladin:Sword and Fairy 6
Bloody Spell
Fate Seeker
The Swordsmen X
Bladed Fury
Gujian3

HoangMarcel: Does China produce any games beside P2W MMOs? If yes then I would love to see a list of it.
avatar
IwubCheeze: I would like to see a list as well. I've lived in China for 12 years and a vast majority people I've talked with about gaming were into crappy mobile games, P2W MMOs or cheap knock offs from games developed in the West or Japan. I've only ever met one person into actual gaming, though he was more more interested in mainstream AAA gaming. I don't doubt that there are good games developed in China but if there are, I've definately missed them.

@OP

I'm fluent in Chinese and hold an HSK level 6 certificate so no English language support won't be a problem. If you have some more Chinese games (that aren't mobile, MMOs or knock offs) to recommend, I'd love to see what they are.
Is there any type or genre you like?

Darvond: Sure, I could go look these up on Mobygames or something, but you've failed to give me anything resembling a hook.

Lucumo: They all seem more "meh".

Puzzle game (not for me)
Brawler (seems to be the best of the bunch, although the characters/movement kinda remind me of flash games)
"Esports"/MOBA club simulator, doesn't even have good ratings on Steam
Stats raising game with casual minigames?
And his favorite game is an early access title with IAP while the game is P2W...also, apparently it's really hard finding opponents to play against

(At least I mentioned two accomplished RPG series which are worth something.)
It's SAD that Red-Tide became P2W game. I get it, they have investors and KPI.
But I really miss the fun time playing it with my friend when I spend my 100 hours on it. The game was once well balanced.

Anyway, here is a list of 'WuXia' genre games.
Chinese Paladin:Sword and Fairy 6
Bloody Spell
Fate Seeker
The Swordsmen X
Bladed Fury

koima57: Only those featuring that... Disney character, a yellow as honey, friendly bear I think?
Haha, good meme.
I guess the government is trying to keep the image of a big red evil communism look. Works well so far~
A friendly bear couldn't stop Trump kicking around.

Lucumo: As you said, most games are either Chinese-only or use Steam DRM. Additionally, if something like Xuanyuan Jian or Xianjian Qixia Zhuan is translated, they would always ignore the early entries of the series which means I wouldn't buy the later games...because who would want to start in the middle of a series? Granted, I do so even if the series is not directly connected (Final Fantasy etc). Same can be said for Korean series like War of Genesis.
I reckon the story of each generation is independent.

Panda_Joy: here are just some examples available on markets
Check them out cuzz~

Thanks, some of them look interesting on first glance of their steam page. I'll take a closer look should they arrive here or at FireFlower. :)
