Hello all! Been some time now since the last I posted here. A small request is all I ask..

It seems life caught up with me and I didn't yet get a chance to purchase SimCity 4 Deluxe as it was on sale and instead, placed it in my cart to buy later (silly me). Days gone by, (the sale being over) I thought I had purchased it and to my horror.. Saw it still in my cart.. (facepalm). Kinda frustrated about it, my two days off from a week of hell at work and I was looking forward to this.

In short. If anyone has an extra copy the game, I will trade with them;

A - AVP 2000/Neverwinter Knights Diamond (if not already owned)
or B - A (up to) $4.99 game of their choice from GOG for the price at which I was to buy SimCity 4 Deluxe

I often park games I'm considering there, it definitely will hold items in your cart for at least a week.

Does that really work? I never knew that... Guess its been more than i week since I had it in my cart then.. Haha

You said in your original post that that's exactly what you did...put it in your cart and forgot to finish checking out. It'll hold games in your cart for a long time unless you manually remove them, but it won't maintain the sale price once the sale ends. You'll see the regular price in the cart then.

During big sales I use the park-in-cart method to keep a running total & compare that against my total budget for the sale. That way I can swap stuff around to see what combination of games I like best for X amount of money.

Actually, I am pretty sure that a cart item can disappear if it's removed from sale.

At the end of one sale, I had a Piñata in my cart (I was curious to see what would happen when the sale ended), and while it was still there when the sale officially ended, a bit later it disappeared.

(I say "cart item" for the cases where you can put something in your cart that isn't a game, like the aforementioned piñata.)

I thought for some reason that it was assumed the sale price would maintain after the sale ends with the item in your cart still and that I was missing the point.
