Can we start a petition to have it here on GOG too?
...That's, uh, nice I guess?

Too bad it isn't Tale of the Forsaken Land instead but that's understandable and I haven't been able to give this title a fair chance yet.
You mean like a change.org petition or ?
Steam and Humble Store, to be more precise.

I smell a rejection...
To be fair, the number of games that were rejected and turned out to be shit, outweighs the number of good games that were rejected by GOG. This time though, we're talking about XSEED so I'm a little biased.
Always looking for more Japanese blobbers in English. The Elminage games are great.

Wasn't Wizardry once an U.S. based RPG not a JRPG? JRPG are fine and there are alot of great examples. Somehow, it just feels wrong.

It was, Sir Tech sold the Wizardry franchise to a Japanese company during the early 00's I believe. It's been a very popular series in Japan, with official Wizardry games as well as clones still being made in Japan to this day.

Grargar: Steam and Humble Store, to be more precise.

I suspect it is the developer (Acquire) that does not want to be DRM-free. None of their other games that have been localised by Xseed are here. So humble will probably just offer a steam key.

On the other hand if humble somehow offers a DRM-free version, then your rejection hypothesis is much more likely.

Either way, voted. I only ever finished the PS3 demo but it was pretty good.
+1'd for great justice
Well, it's definitely not a game for everyone, that much is clear:

It's basically a "tough-as-nails" old-school experience for masochists.

I probably couldn't bring myself to play it (nowadays), though I usually like old-school RPGs.

I hypothesize rejection on one single factor; XSeed has yet to release any Steam-only games on the Humble Store. Their catalog there is completely DRM-Free.

This seems the most likely. Xseed is a reliable seller and I don't see why GOG would reject one of their titles.

Or it might be coming to GOG and it just hasn't been announced yet.

Fair point. I just noticed Bullet Witch is DRM-free on humble. Was that rejected here? I remember asking Xseed about it and all i got in reply was "no current plans".

I guess we will have to wait and see how this plays out....

The launch trailer features the steam and humble logos only. Unless something happens behind the scenes in the pre-release window (May 29 is launch day), i wouldn't hold my breath.
