Well none of the events in the game are canon according to Andrzej Sapkowski so I don't see how they have spoiled the saga. Just think of it as fan fiction and give the games a try, maybe you might even enjoy them on the merits of just the gameplay then. :)

On the topic of timelines and such, does anyone have an approximate age for Ciri in the third game?
