Hi All, I posted this to reddit and Witcher 3 forum. Hope to get more visibility here...

This problem is bothering lots of people and is asked before, I wanted to detail my case in case someone has a solution...

When I start the game I just get a black screen and the loading pointer. I can alt tab and the game is not responding using substantial resources. The patch is installed, reinstalled the game both on galaxy and the direct download. Reinstalled the drivers. tried with old and new drivers for my gtx 970.

Final situation: Uninstalled everything, cleaned registry, clean install, update worked correctly, folder size is 24.6 gb, everything normal in registry, same problem................ Just can't figure it out, please help...

Getting more visibility for a game-specific problem by posting in General is like getting more visibility in a prison shower. Mission accomplished, but you might not get what you were hoping for.

Oh come on is this that bad? Most people here is probably occupied with Witcher 3 related things now, with that said I apologize for the unwarranted post...

Check out the subforum. High resource use with failed game start has been reported. The fix that I saw was (seriously, just derailed myself with the desire to make "saw was" the middle of an anagram sentence) a reinstall. Best of luck finding a better one.

I really would like to see that subforum, but after ten minuts of clicking on everything and havent find it, ... Anyway I cant start the game or UNISTALL it, because run time error. So hard delete and install again..
