LucasVanWolf: I have box version... instaled . GoG account done and game sign in.... but it doesn't starts... Any ideas?
If you have the boxed version, you don't actually need a GOG account. That's just for the digital backup.
I think you might just need this patch. Download and install it.
What about DLC it keeps giving me the same error as the patch.

P.S i have the Retail version.
I have the Disc version. When i insert the first disc it says Application not found.

I then go into the disc and click on setup and it asks me to locate the following file: SETUP_TH-1.bin

That file doesnt actually exist. There is a SETUP_TH, SETUP_TH.BIN & SETUP_T2.BIN.

I have tried selecting all of those and it just says it is not the right file and i either get to select again or cancel the installation.

ANY IDEAS?

Thanks
I have the retail disk version.

The game ruins fine, it states version 1.02 in the menu.

I can't install 1.03, nor can I get the first two DLCs. GOG Galaxy keeps giving me "installation failed disk access problem". Not fun...

TW3's awesome, but Galaxy could benefit from a UI improvements and less bugs.

Edit: Go figure. After numerous attempts and closing/opening Galaxy, this time it worked.

I can't install the necessary patch through gog, I bought the disk version. When I try to manually install the patch everything seems to be normal but when I try to launch the game afterwards it still craches.

Does anybody know how to fix this cause I really want to play this game :/
I have the box version and i just installed it but can't download 1.02 patch, it keeps saying "download failed" and tries to download again with same results. So i decided to also download the "pre-download" version form GOG Galaxy and see what will happen. Also the patch from the link does not work for me, i cannot install it manually either.

@Update: Problem solved! It was my damn Antivirus! I deactivated my AV and updates where installed just fine!

You solved my problem, thanks !
I have the box retail verion and had the same problem "Installation Failed, disc access failure" but turned off my firewall, and antivirus and it finally downloaded. Not safe for your computer but works, it seems.
Hi guys. I had this problem (Installation failed: disk access problem) surfacing today (it worked fine until now). I'm running Avast! and after adding the GOG Downloads folder to the exclusion file paths the update now works again.
When I finished downloading the whole 33GB, the status bar is on 100% with 1 MB more file downloading. Left it for a couple more minutes, still 1MB downloading. Restarted the GOG galaxy client, status went back to 25GB.
Done it twice, the result is the same.
Tried downloading the GOG Downloader, kept having Net. Framework issue.
Any clues?

Yeah, I'm running Avast too. I Disabled it and now the DL is working fine. Hate it when you have a program that you used to use not download again because of a stupid anti virus says "Nup!" to it.
