Hi guys, I remember years ago there was a website with Windows Resource files, such as offline installers for updates, Framework, Visual+ redistributables etc. I can't remember the name, but the site is probably gone now.

My main PC is offline, so I have to rely on getting these updates manually.

Is there an online resource (other than Microsoft) that keeps track of these files?

If not, could someone point out which Microsoft links have the current updates?

Currently using Windows 7 64-Bit Service Pack 1

Thanks.

I use WSUS for that. It's not perfect, but it works well.

Thanks for the reply, I had never heard of this before.

Is this the site?

I downloaded the 9.8.zip file, how does this thing work exactly?

Yep, that's the one. You unzip it and there's an executable in there to generate the update package. You can either burn the files to a disc or you can copy them to a USB drive.

I think the file is updategenerator, or something like that. The UI is pretty straightforward, just check the things you want and it'll download the relevant updates.

No problem. I've been using it for years. It's much easier than slipstreaming for new installs.
