chandra: By purchasing Thronebreaker you are granted 20 cards and 5 Premium Kegs (so Kegs with only animated cards) which you can use in Gwent. Moreover, while playing Thronebreaker, you can unlock Premium versions of these 20 cards :)
xanraal: Cool thanks chandra. I was tossing up between buying another 40 dollar barrel bundle, or maybe buying thronebreaker. The barrel bundle will obviously give me a lot more chances of snagging some of the cards i want for builds as well as crafting scraps, however thronebreaker might be an ok option as well. It's a toughie lol..
Well, perhaps you could check if the 20 promised cards (it's 10 neutral cards and 2 cards per faction) are something you can work with? 5 Premium Kegs are also pretty cool, you can always mill the ones you don't need, same with the premium versions of the mentioned 20 cards.
If you like Gwent and the Witcher world, perhaps Thronebreaker would be something you might just thoroughly enjoy :) Still, better to check a few gameplay videos or something if you are not certain.
