It struck me as odd that Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure was withheld during the many waves of releases from LucasArts. I would have thought it would be paired with Fate Of Atlantis. What's the hold-up?

Yeah, it's strange. And the game is a very good one, I know a lot of people who find it more enjoyable than the Fate of Atlantis.
I'm still waiting on the last 2 Monkey Island games. Seriously, a new batch of LucasArts games would sure hit the spot right about now. I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but it's my understanding that due to the appearance of Nazi symbols in the game, Germany have some things to say about the release of Last Crusade; having said that, it's on Steam, so idk what the deal is there if this is the case.

Maybe GOG didn't want to bring it here till now, since it would become regionally-locked for German customers (as it is on Steam). But, things have changed now.
So it's because of THIS?! (and a few other less prominent pictures). What a strange world...
Perhaps a better question might be "Why hasn't Disney brought this game to GOG yet?" since they own it and ultimately choose where to sell it. The only way it's up to GOG to decide is if Disney offered it to GOG and GOG rejected it, but I highly doubt that is the case.

I know it seems far fetched to the rest of the world that Germany is so touchy about that. But I bet that any other country in their place would also rather erase that bit of their history. Of course, enforcing it through censorship laws is a bit ironic...

Not sure if constantly reminding people about it through rules and regulations actually helps in that direction, not to mention that it's not erased or forgotten by the rest of the world. The censorship feels more like fear that history may repeat itself.

Yeah, Fate of Atlantis is certainly the better game, but... TLC was pretty damn good too.

The game was generally good, but was almost spoiled completely by the god-awful decision to put those fist fights into it.

They weren't THAT bad. And besides there were ways to "cheat" yourself out of the difficult ones.
