I don't get it.

Because even an inanimate object is capable of mustering enough will to reject being debased in such a fashion.

He can't play No Man's Sky on his Nvida Shield Android tablet and wants to know why.

I see. I thought this was some kind of meta-joke or meme.
Umm, because there is no android version of no man Sky? Every OS is different in how they do things, like handling input, or display graphic. And porting between them is not always easy, especially when you don't plan it from the start

It may be a joke, but really, I was wondering why there aren't more Shield tablet ports. It has the hardware to do it. The Nintendo switch is almost the same processing and graphics hardware. Just wondering why I have a native Borderlands 2 port, but so few others. So it's kind of a joke, but I am genuinely curious.

True but depends on what OP means. While you generally would be correct, the Nvidia Shield streams games over the internet to said device while all the heavy lifting is done on the PC. Not sure why it isn't working as I don't own one, but just wanted to clear that up. Your correct though that a port would be needed to play natively.

Ah, I forgot the streaming ability. I remember seeing on YouTube someone play skyrim on shield using streaming. Wonder if there is something that makes streaming nms not working

Yeah, NMS. :)
Are you using GeForce NOW?

tremere110: Are you using GeForce NOW?
No, but I hear he's thinking of using it later.

I swear, I misread tremere110's message as "Are you using StarForce NOW".

Gee....
The Nvidia Shield deserves better.
