GameRager: Look up on youtube just how long so-called "lifetime supplies" given away in contests last people and you'll see why a "lifetime supply" isn't always as good as it sounds.
I searched the internet and this one seemed funny to me, EA is so EA;))

Age has already decided for me.

Themken: Age has already decided for me.
That actually could apply to both given the amount of sodium and cholesterol in an average pizza.

Oh god, I'm turning into Jack LaLanne! :O

At a rough calculation those 8 games for life(assuming one lives 40 or so more years) would come to around 16-18k or so......so it's probably a good deal. Also if one dies usually the lifetime supply thing is cancelled out(if it hasn't been paid out in full) so that's another reason the cash option would be better.

From the banker point of view the cash option is better for both sides. But I don't plan to die in 40 years, and I'm not a newborn child. Who lives 40 years???

I was talking about the average lifespan of an adult(needed to enter such contests...starting age is normally 18 or so) when taking into account how long a person might live without much risk of death by illness/accident/etc.

That's actually mostly true in many areas(if you average the lifespans of people in sh*thole countries to those in better ones) and a good lifespan for some. :p

:D
This reminds me of a few years ago when The Who played the Super Bowl Half-Time Show.

A 75 year old man screaming, "Hope I die before I get old!"

Riiiiiiighhhht.

I don't know how are things elsewhere but in Russia males dying at age of 50+ mostly have strong addiction to alcohol and tobacco, mostly. Russia is one of the sh@tholes's countries, we have an alarming death rate of population. Only Ukraine and the few African countries can compare.

Well I was mainly talking about some african/south american/etc countries with bad average lifespans due to illness/disease/etc.

Not to be depressing, but I have read about this being a serious problem in Russia:

All of that cold weather, darkness, and snow is depressing, perhaps?

You just described the Keweenaw and our rate is pretty low.

Not a joke post. Most people who see where I live say it's beautiful but also assume the suicide rate in the winter must be ridiculous. It's not.

Come to think of it, I don't think there has been a suicide up here since I moved here in 2006.

I knew you were gonna toss that into the ring. Why is the suicide rate so high in Russia, then? Supposedly, the seasons and weather have a real effect on personality and behavior.
