As the title says, what's that one game you're willing to play till the rest of your life? In short, it's just a variation of that old "What's your favourite game?" Question. I would love to know what games you guys love and would play till your death. Any genre, any platform, any game that you might have played in any point of your life. Feel free to share your memories with the game in your comments, I would love to read those. And lastly happy gaming! Love ya all :-).
Heroes of Might and Magic III. I was playing only that for a few years. Randomized maps.
Only one game for the rest of my life?
None!
But if you persist: Boulder Dash.
Err... I don't think there is anything that I wouldn't start to hate after a couple of years of not being able to play anything else :P

If I absolutely had to choose? Perhaps something with a powerful editor / modding capability so that I can at least try and create my own stuff to freshen up the experience. Not sure what though.

As for what I could probably stand to play the longest? Possibly OpenTTD, Dwarf Fortress or Kerbal Space Program. The former and latter might do for the preceding question though, because of modding options.

Ohh that's a solid choice, I'm not into strategy too much but this game introduced me to the strategy genre basically at my friend's house one day who downloaded it by mistake and I was like let's give it a try. Not exactly love it since I'm not that into full-on strategy but I can no way hate a masterpiece like this! Very well choice buddy.

I only own openttd since it's free and have played KSP on my friend's computer (can't afford it rn but on my wishlist) and oh boy, that guy is playing the game non stop from its launch. Whenever I feel like doing something crazy I just go to his house for some experiments haha. And about openttd, it's by far the best business game imo. You put a lot of thinking into choosing the three haha really appreciate the effort.
You need a hardest Roguelike game for that. Or hardcore mod for any rpg
Life is the ultimate game we play.

FranGala: Dwarf Fortress
oh no
There is no such game but if I had to choose I would pick Heroes of Might & Magic II Gold (because it has the expansion with cool features which were later appeared in HoMM 3). I would replay the campaign on hardest difficulty, all routes and then take on custom maps. Don't give me wrong HoMM 3 is a very good game but HoMM 2 is much better, it has the old classic design style, fantastic music with opera (HoMM 3 music lacks it), magic does not require special skill to be good (all you need is wisdom) and archers, they are decent in HoMM 2 (archery in HoMM 3 is a joke).

Microsoft Flight Simulator: since you can fly to anywhere in the world and now you have all the time in the world, you can really learn to fly- using all the real world flying rules and everything. You could run a real airline in real time. Fly anywhere in real time, have your wife dress up as a flight hostess to bring you meals for the long haul flights.

And when you get bored you can just set yourself little mini games- like checking each day to see where Greta Thunberg is and smashing your plane into that location. With imagination you'll never run out of things to do.
