We can complain about the lack of releases, but ultimately GOG are the ones who are really affected by what they release - they could release an oldie but if it doesn't sell well or causes issues that result in a lot of refund requests, then that's a problem for them.

We can't just look to GOG for a dopamine rushes unless we're willing to pay for it. ;)

Understandable, I got a backlog enough for a few years without any releases :)
