I'm gonna piss of alotta hipsters here, but here goes...

Over the past couple of months, many of GOG's offerings have been boring 'simulations', point-n-click games, or indie games featuring pixel art yet AAA hardware requirements. The likes of Nuclear Throne is a great exception, and getting Turok and Quake III Gold are awesome (in spite of their price). However, we have yet to see more games of a Far Cry ilk or a Divinity Dragon Commander ilk hit GOG.

With Bethesda bringing their back-catalog to GOG, where the Hell is Oblivion? It's damn near 10 years old! Quake IV is practically two generations old! Where's Quake IV?

Torchlight II (Win/Mac/Linux) has been on Humble Store twice and DRM-free! Where the Hell is Torchlight II?

I'm really starting to wonder here...
WTF is a "hipster"?
Hmm, games I actually want? You mean like Freedom Force, Pirates! and Impossible Creatures? They have already.

Co-signed. We do get the occasional gem, but it is a rarity. Still waaaaay too much Eurojank, and we seem to be stuck with the absolute least interesting stuff from the big publishers here. It's fine that those games are here, but it'd be nice to expand beyond that at some point.

Feels like I've been saying this for a while...

Like others have said, we got 2K games here recently.

These things, they take time. GOG knows people want them (ie, they can make $$$ here), especially Oblivion, but I'm guessing Bethesda doesn't have GOG high up on their priority list especially with the new DOOM releasing. Same with most of the "big name" publishers.

Torchlight II is a case I don't really get either, but there's probably some behind-the-scenes issues.

You'd be better off asking the appropriate devs and pubs why game x isn't here, on social media, their forums, etc.

And, of course, "I" =/= "we" - Firewatch had over 1,200 votes, Deponia Doomsday nearly 700, Evil Islands over 450, and the combined 2K releases probably close to 30 or 40,000.

tinyE: WTF is a "hipster"?
Someone who still has all their original hip parts.
Not keen on point and click either, but gog's trying to cater to all.
Take the rough with the smooth, would love to see Oblivion and many, many other titles.
Better communication of what is coming wouldn't go amiss either (older titles) not new stuff.
The wait and see policy bites.....
Gog's been on good form i thought, still carn't please everybody.
I was stoked to get morrowind, didn't think i'd see that so.........never know wuts next, huh.
Gog does have game i want, and continues to get others i didn't know i wanted.

Damn! Why did I buy my games on GOG if I didn't actually want them?

It's that insidious GOG mind-control system at work again! :-P
