For me it's Gothic. It's very popular in Poland, even 2 decades after release people still make memes about it. The Polish dubbing is considered legendary.

I own Gothic 1 and 2 on GOG, and while they aren't BAD games per se, i find them not very enjoyable. It's not about the graphics. I have enjoyed many games that are old. I guess i just find them frustrating. On lower levels you are cannon meat for most monsters and you need to carefully level up before you finally become respected and strong. But it's done in a way that is frustrating. Say, Dark Souls is difficult, but in a very well polished way that enhances the experience. This game is hard, but in a way that makes you say "okay, i will come back to it later then, now what's another game in my library i haven't finished yet...". But this is not definitive. Maybe i will grow to like these games eventually. This happened with GTA San Andreas.

What about you?

Super Mario Kart. While I had the SNES original growing up, it just really wasn't my thing, so I didn't get any of the later stages.

Guess racing games aren't really my thing.

(This is excluding games I never bothered to try.)
@GeraltOfRivia_PL: Where are you getting all those questions from? Is there a website or database or something? People are actually speculating you're an AI, did you know that?

That said, that's really an interesting question, especially if you ask "why", and "why not me".
Shenmue (1). It was mostly just tedious to me.
Baldur's Gate
Warcraft - overrated.
World Of Warcraft - I prefer living a real life.
Diablo - Diablo 3 requires constant internet connection, is DRM-ed, old Diablos are archaic.
Battlefield - it is somewhere between ordinary and simulator, pf. It fails at being both at the same time.
Dota - it takes away too much time.
Medal Of Honor - Call Of Duty + United Offensive, Call Of Duty 2 and Call Of Duty - World At War beat anything from this franchise.
Mass Effect - it has an EA brand on it.
Dragon Age - I have tried out playing Dragon Age - Inquisition after all that hyper dyper mega hype. It is such a fail. Thus I have never bothered playing the older ones. They had one job - to impress me - and they have failed.
Sacred - both are way too clunky for an ARPG.
Risen - stale and clunky...
Gothic - overrated and stale, bland, boring, clunky...
Divinity - too hard.
Pillars Of Eternity - boring.
Telltale Series - showing down left wing politics and relative morality down the choices I make.
Arma - that recoil is a disaster.
Path Of Exile - way too expensive for a free to play game. (hint: 3-4 stash tabs for the price of 20$. Pf, lunacy)
Dark Souls - "let us make a really hard game by placing level 50 and 70 boss monsters versus level 1 player in the first half an hour of the gameplay".
Hitman - I never liked this guy, nor the boring gameplay.

There are hella bread more of the titles. These are... say, honourable mentions from the very popular franchises...

Final Fantasy

I tried getting into many of the games in the series, I honestly don't see the appeal

Yes, there's a lot of great aspects about them but they are simply boring to play

Final fantasy is a weird one for me. I love jrpg. Tales series, suikoden golden sun etc. But when it comes to FF I only beat 7 and 8. Played 4, 6, 9, 10 and can't bring myself to finish them. And I don't consider 7 to be as good as many people claim it.

Have you tried 1, 2, 3, and 5? (Especially 5, which is my favorite game in the series.)
Man, for me is definitely Pillars of Eternity (and I think probably Baldur's Gate, need to give it a try someday). My problem with PoE is the way the story unfolds and how they chose to throw the lore at the players. I have some problems with the real time combat with pause too.. I feel way more comfortable with a turn-based combat or something like that. From time to time I try to play it, but every single time I get frustrated. I just can't feel motivated enough. It's one of those series that actually goes to my "shame list", because I really like the artstyle and the voice acting. :(

No I haven't. I heard iff got its first decent story at 4 so I don't go before it. I think I started 5 but stopped before long. It's the one with job system right?
League of Legends. I don't see the appeal of it. I hear its fan-base is one of the worst on the internet.

Fortnight. You make a base and shoot other players. I really don't see what makes this special.

Game of Thrones. I know its not a game, but I still couldn't get into it. I sometimes get confused when my guild starts talking about it. I don't know who John Snow is. Some kind of villain?

Rogue-likes. I don't think they're bad, just not my cup of tea.
Call of Duty
-I like FPS. I don't like generic boring repetitive ones. CoD feels like it wants to be a big budget film, and just doesn't feel good to me as a game. And I don't do competitive online play.

Hitman
-I loved the 3rd game or so for a while, but then it got difficult and I abandoned it and never returned.

Tomb Raider
- Same hanky engine as the first Hitman and seemingly Bloodrayne. Fast action with terrible control. The story never felt good either.

Dragon Age and Mass Effect
- I listed these together because I disliked them for the same reasons: the sequels dumbed the fun systems down and made them more action-y than I like my RPGs to be in these cases. I really enjoyed both first games (and still do), and was completely turned off by the gameplay changes in the sequels.
