I asked something similar, but after searching fruitlessly for 15 mins (why can I NOT search GOG by my own name!?), I'll just post...

What story, book, movie, or IP would you like to see made into a video game?

For me...

I'd love to see games based on (just a few off the top of my head)...

The Three Musketeers. UbiSoft and Spiders have come so very close!!!

Solomon Kane
. Brilliant gothic horror swashbuckler by Robert E Howard (Conan)

Horatio Hornblower. British Navy. Napoleonic War on the high seas.

Master & Commander. Entire series. More of same (Napoleonic War)

Sharpe's Rifles. Entire series. Yes, more Napoleonic War.

War of the Worlds. I'm sure one exists, but I'd like to see one in the vein of The Bureau X-Com Declassified
Sharpe's Rifles would make a great "Mount and Blade" clone-ish. Real time w/pause, and pushing a button to switch who you occupy to line up shots. Thanks for making me think of it.

My first thought is: There's never enough "weird west" out there. At least non-steampunk "weird west". So I'd always appreciate more. There's not a lot to pull from already. Deadlands, Wynona Earp, etc.

I'd love to see a Flintstones themed puzzle game. I'd suck at it and probably hate it, but it'd be novel. (In the type of The Incredible Machine.) Flintsones meet the Jetsons crossover expansion pack.

Also, predicting this thread: 10385340584098 requests for properties based on Brandon Sanderson's work. (A game set in the Reckoners universe wold work.)

And a not quite straight answer (AKA silly answer): A visual novel based on Melrose Place, Baywatch or some other "prime time soap opera".

Brian McClellan's Valkyrie Collections would be perfect for video games. I picture them as actiony-point and click (like TWD games).

Hell of a lot of series printed in the comic 2000AD (owned and published by Rebellion Developments) are ripe for adaption in to videogames and I'm amazed they've ignored this for so long.

Judge Dredd: an open world action game set in a section of Mega City One playing a custom made Judge just seems like a natural way to base a game in the Dreddverse, there's thousands of characters from the comic they could bring in as side or cameo characters already and hundreds of Dredd stories could be adapted into one off missions or self contained episodes.

Sinister Dexter: A duo of extremely violent, wise cracking comedic hitman in a futuristic pan European city, would make a perfect coop shooter.

Button Man: Modern day gladiators who battle it out public places without regular people knowing for the entrainment of their wealth elite owners.

Strontium Dog: After a nuclear war the people who are mutated by the fallout (no superpowers just horribly deformed, some have things like vampire or werewolf like mutations but they have no benefits) are for segregated in a large ghetto (Milton Keynes) where the only employment offered is to leave Earth and become intergalactic bounty hunters.

I'd love to see a game based on the Rifts game.

But being a weird amalgam of Post-apocalyptic Sci-fi, Fantasy, Superheroes, Space Travel, Cosmic Horror and Cyberpunk (among many other crazy stuff), it'd be hard to do that setting justice.

Redwall - Basically it's classic fantasy, but with anthropomorphic animals. Which in theory makes it for kids, though the death toll in those books is sometimes closer to something like Game of Thrones :D An open world RPG in that setting could be something completely out of this world. But I'd settle even for a nice 2D point & click.

Firefly - I imagine it as a sort of Space Uncharted, but I guess something more like Desperados could work great too.

I Hate Fairlyand - it's a comic book series about a girl who travelled to a cutesy, cartoonish magical land... and then got stuck there, never growing up, for decades, because she's basically the worst fantasy story protagonist ever. And now she's pissed, hates everything, and is basically willing to find the exit over everyone's dead bodies. I'm not sure how I imagine the game... a comedic American McGee's Alice? A point & click? I don't know, but the series is over, but I'd love to see more of it, in any format.

Watchmen (the original graphic novel) into an FPS/RPG hybrid.
I want a big open world Peter Pan game, where you can fly through the clouds like this scene from Hook: https://youtu.be/G4HOP857dNY?t=59

A Dennis the Menace adventure game, in the same vein as Willy Beamish.

Yes, and the game has a time limit. For once you grow up, you're forcibly killed/save deleted.

Yes, thanks for the link. I've used Goggle search, but...

"About 1,770 results"

Uhm no xD

But yes, it'd be cool if you could visit London as well, however it's difficult to constrain movement in an open world when the character can literally fly. In Neverland at least the endless ocean can act as the barrier.

Yeah, it amazes me this series hasn't been adapted already.

I'd like to add another...

Ring of the Nibelung. Germanic folklore and the grand daddy of most Western fantasy. Brilliant.

Give me one where we can play as Captain Hook. He's one of my favorite villains ever, when done right.

Oh I love that 2003 film, especially Peter Pan's unhinged/chaotic personality. Seemed very fitting.

Oh no wait, scratch my previous answer. The IP I want: a Red Dead Redemption / Mad Max style game in the Bravestarr universe!

Bravestarr intro
