Coming back from a bout of extensor tendonitis.. finally managed to run 6miles pain free this morning.
Aced an audit at work from an outside auditor with no problems, even though we just had staff turnover and I've spent the last three weeks frantically fixing things.

*still happy dancing*
Logging in to see I'd won Coelocanth's Hobbit Birthday#36 GA thanks to the kindness of others made me very happy.

Earlier today I went to my parent's house to cut down a dead evergreen in their backyard which made me happy because if they'd tried to do it they would have given themselves serious pain and possible injury or paid someone most likely. An Aleve and a bottle of beer and a good night's sleep (well the first two at least) and I'll be fine.

Poster above made me happy; a good person.
I lost a giveaway but I got a lovely message from awalterj whose giveaway it was and then I got a very sweet message for Ragnarblackmane. Both of them made me happy today.

I also got my first star, though I'm not 100% sure how they work. I assume it's because I reached a certain number of rep points. Anyway, it's my first ever star and I might have to do another giveaway soon to celebrate.
A letter from Yvan Delporte (when he was a kid) to Hergé.

That is the most veriest cutest thing in the whole world ever.
Being able to use my PC to access GOG made me happy today.
On the way home from a customer, taking a route I hadn't driven before, I encountered the statue of Stanley the Sturgeon.

And this is what I love about small towns.
One lucky drop of oil on a random bolt, and my fan ceases to go shrruiiikkkrr when reaching the end of its oscillation. Smooth.
A customer payment was delivered to the wrong address last week, but got redirected here yesterday. Bonus payday!

Yes, I know the net is the same... but bonus payday!

And yes, it came later than it should have... but bonus payday!
Realizing that today, with only one more day before a lengthy vacation, I am actually caught up on things at work.

Also, coming home to find leftover pizza still in the fridge from last night was a nice bonus.
Well I was happy to login to Steam and see that one of my friends gave me a gift link to One Finger Death Punch... until Indie Gala redeemed it to the wrong account even though it is linked to mine :\ lol
Not a whole lot so far, but my King-size Tempurpedic bed probably will later.
Playing Cry of Fear with three other buddies.

DieRuhe: Well, turns out my cavity wasn't as bad as expected, so it can probably just be filled and that's that.

On the other hand, the tooth in front of it seems to have a dying nerve, so it's either take it out or get a root canal and crown. Since I'm not made of money, it'll have to be the first option. No, this did not make me happy, but it's tied to the first entry. :-)
As someone who is about to get either all of their remaining upper or all teeth removed (17 of them left), remembering how much I stressed out and was upset about one front tooth snapping off and reading this post had me smile.

It may change the way you speak, it may change your appearance, it may change how you feel about yourself, but when you can give a toothless grin and realise you are still "you", you might find a new reason to smile :)
