The pills they give don't make it better.
Maybe you need different pills?
(To my understanding, this is actually common; different people have different brain chemistry, and it can sometimes take a while to find the right combination of medicines to treat depression.)
this is true
I've been on anti-depression meds for the last 25 or so years and I've had to change them at least six times. Sometimes it's a mess right away. but some work great....for ten years....and then start failing you. So not only is everyone's chemistry different, that difference itself keeps changing.
