Clearly a souls-like since the 2nd screen, though still can't say I'm familiar with this one.

Random shot - Lords of the Fallen (2023)?

EDIT:
Just realized there is that trademark lantern always present on the character, so it should probably be it. I did see some screens of the game back then and is one of the souls-likes I'd like to play, but still waiting for a GOG release.

Only read a couple reviews around the time the game released and avoided gameplay videos for that reason.

I heard it was pretty meh at launch, but the "2.0" patch turned it good, and "2.5" patch made it even better. I really enjoyed it myself, though the ending I got sucked. I'm going to try the other two endings in NG+ (via save backup at the divergence point).

Yep. Not sure how much time players give this game in general, so decided to return to one of the earliest areas in the game for the next screen and grabbed a nice "handful" :)
