I was looking at the Unity Asset Store homepage when I saw this new project template which totally looks like your usual kickstarter project except it's only 50$ :o)
https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/26912

I tried the demo and I must say it's rather convincing for a beginning basis (weapon switching and zombie respawn should be improved, compass could be a plus, adding invisible walls at map borders, etc.). By looking at the scene editor, it seems rather straight-forward.

So, I tought it would be interesting to do our own stuff just for fun (and fuck those EA and KS scams) and maybe get the multiplayer thing going on GOG Galaxy (and why not, even in the database for free ^o^). Apart from some tweaking and coding, most of the work would be to do the assets ourselves (keeping it low-poly please...) or use free or cheap ones.

Bad idea, good idea? Who's in? :o)
Not in (for now) but this is a pretty nice idea, how does this all template thing goes actually, if someone buys this template for 50 bucks can he make a game and sell it without owning anything (like some %) to the original creator of the template?
