dick1982: non-critical question but where the heck is Pitcairn Islands? Poland has isles???
I think they're somewhere in the Pacific.
Seems like Poland is doing some territorial expansion

Nope, they are not part of Poland territory. :) Learn more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitcairn_Islands

(Probably changed it during some tests and forgot to switch it back ;))

WOW! (think of the children?)
Seems like Lords of the Realm 2 has been unbundled, but its Siege Pack contains no files for the time being.

Chamb: Everything should be back to normal right now - all installers are again available on your accounts. If you still can see them try refreshing your Account few times.

Problem was introduced with the release of latest My Accounts changes / improvements. We are currently investigating the real cause of said issue. Sorry for all the inconvenience caused by this error.
Thanks, checked Stalker:COP and it seems to be back now.

RSColonel_131st: Hi all

Obviously I missed something. If I go to my games Library, for example open Kerbal Space Program, I only see a Linux download. No windows installer.

If I go to Metro Last Light Redux, I see a windows installer but only Part 4 of 4.

Stalker: Call of Pripyat only lists a 1MB Multiplayer update.

So, is GOG.com currently broken by accident, or is this an attempt to force people into using Galaxy or the Downloader? Where are my direct game download links?

This is scary...

nightcraw1er.488: Yes, looks like mine is doing the same. Ticket to helpdesk I suppose if you need to access them. not wanting to sound smug, but I download everything I purchase immediately and store it offline, which, following the site changes, and galaxy rubbish sounds to be the best plan.
i always download all my stuff whenever and wherever i buy it aswell,.
I dont think we will ever be 'forced' to use the galaxy, as a fact i know that will never happen.
An explanation that in the near future because of all the new technologies and the ever growing community and increasing load of traffic and other technical things, a client will be the best way to communicate with things.

I been playing some browsergames since the games first launched (gladiatus, ogame (gameforge dot com)
(originall a german company) and shakesfidget (also german company)
Been playing for >10 years and 5 years now, and many things have changed, a lot , if not most (ogame) were not for the better, but i and many others still use it, why? We dont have the answer.

So in short if and when time comes that all be drastically changed, theres nothing we can do about it.
Besides , a client needed isnt that bad , now is it ? :D
90% or more of you are also steam users ? so a required client hasnt bothered us yet :D
Maybe it takes another 5 years ? 10 years? before a client will be required to run things, by that time i might be senile
and forgot my login and mailadresses , who knows :D
For now i will go on as i did before and i wont worry for now, if i see a good game/sales i get the game or buy them at the sales.

Don't worry now, just have fun.

"Besides , a client needed isnt that bad , now is it ? :D " - Yes, it is. I have no need, nor see any value in it. I would rather they use the resource to track down games which are missing from here, rather than developing some social gaming crap for people too lazy to install a game themselves.

"90% or more of you are also steam users ? so a required client hasnt bothered us yet :D" - Again, I am in the minority, I do not use Steam, nor ever will do or any other product of there's. When that majority turn round and state they are fine with online authentication, don't complain.

"Maybe it takes another 5 years ? 10 years? before a client will be required to run things, by that time i might be senile
and forgot my login and mailadresses , who knows :D" - That's fine, I prefer to own the things I pay for.

"Don't worry now, just have fun." - I wasn't, and I am.

you have a point there :D
sorry but my internet had a 'seizure' or so, so i had to wait till it was over, ziggo has its ups and downs :D

Anyways, like i said you are absolutely right, but the reason i wrote it that way is not to be blunt or rude,
i've been around in the forum communities for 10 years now (maybe more)
have been mod for several years in foras that are gone now, too bad it cause it was fun there.

So , as a mod you cant place blunt or rude posts, cause that would be a bad example to the users, so thats why i usually try to ease and cool things down, sorry for that but sometimes i still reply like a mod thas has to be a example and cant write rude replies,we need to keep the forums fun and enjoyable for all.

I dont favor game clients aswell, but, if and when a client should or must be needed in order for smooth operations or if it would be the only way , then so be it, nothing we can do about it.
