I was more than a year not here, now I come back and GoG looks and feels so freaking different and so.... Steamish! What has happened? Has the dark side really taken over GoG?

If you really haven't been here you might want to check up on your privacy settings, because now you have a user profile that shows all info about you to the world by default.

Basically everything about GOG got remade from the ground up, this time built around buzzwords - "client", "social features", "mobile", "youtubers" etc.

its still the same weird and somewhat retarded gog you have always known, offline installers and everything is still there. dont worry,

they arent gone.

This, in particular you may wish to make sure that you are not searchable by e-mail address.
