timppu: Which reminds me that I'd really prefer if these kinds of games (FPS games or action adventure games with exploration etc.) didn't have such points of no return which make it impossible to re-explore earlier parts of the level.
I'm that way, only with RPGs instead.

It's one of the reasons why, back in the day, I'd stop multiple playthroughs of FF6 right before clearing the Floating Continent.
Started playing Gris, which I got in the giveaway thread. Played for a couple of hours and everything was perfectly fine. When I started it the day after, it ran like crap. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it still runs like crap, stuttering all over the place to a headache-inducing degree. Visual options included in the game are very limited and none of them fix the problem, so it looks like I'm done with Gris for now. Unfortunate. The portion of the game I completed seemed pretty interesting.
I started playing Necromunda: Hired Gun.
After finishing Machinarium, I made another draw among my older games that I want to replay, and Pariah popped out (the 2005 FPS game). I remember its, very simple, story. Another game that offers for a sequel. I'm in chapter 3.
I am trying to muster motivation to play Kingdom come deliverance 1 which i have been playing since february last year.

I am in monastery with most if not almost all sidequest done (unless more appear) and only mercenary dlc not finished.

I am tired of this game. it is amazing but I am done and have been done with it some time ago. but it is beautiful, slavic countryside is mesmerizing and fights were nice. but the monk life is not fun. which i think i would have enjoyed if it was much earlier in the game.

but i know that if i uninstall it i will never ever come back to it. and i know that i will be regretting that, rethinking if i should reinstall it and continue my save.

i do that with dragon age origins. never finished it. last playthrough was early 2011. still have save, fairly close to the end. and do think that i should sit down and reinstall it and put the old save in and continue the game... even though i have very little recollection of the story.

Yakuza 0
As surprising as it is to say it, but the more familiar The Elder Scrolls Oblivion becomes, the better it gets and it even rivals The Elder Scrolls Skyrim. The graphics are charming, the NPCs are friendly, the side quests are more varied, and the campaign is far more engaging than repetitively killing dragons in Skyrim.

Well, I've played Morrowind and Oblivion. I skipped Skyrim because you needed Steam for that.

The most fun thing to do in TES is really abusing the bugs.

Other than that you have no party and no party banter.

The magic system and combat is meh.

The lore is stereotypical, the world gray and boring.

Frankly I'm just over TES and dont think I will ever touch any of them again.
after the sober February which in my case translates as "no gaming February" I've started playing Divinity 2 Developer's Cut... sadly it didn't work out of the box but I found a solution in the forums, so I'm in!

and so far I love it - I have finished Venetica last year and enjoyed it greatly, and this one seems to be in the same mood :)

and of course, I'm a huge fan of Larian ever since Divine Divinity and I adore Kirill's music, so all's good
Still on FF8.

At this point, I can say I've reached Disk 3 of all the PSX Final Fantasy games, albeit not necessarily the PSX versions.
(For FF7, the original PC version, released as a set of 4 CDs (one is the Install Disk), for FF8, the GOG release; for FF9, the PSX version.)

Enjoying the mechanics, but the game isn't difficult enough for me to make full use of them, and there's issues with all the cutscenes and sometimes no save points at places I'd like then (the game has a bad habit of not putting save points *after* major events of boss fights, and I've already had a time where I had to play longer than I'd like to because of a lack of save points).
Playing Forza Horizon 5 on my XBOX One X and Civ IV on my computer. I think 5 might be the peak of the franchise, especially with the actual focus on racing balancing out with the Sims-like aspects of the game. Might do an agressive expansionist run on Civ.

I also didn't realize what a game changer adding a console to my desktop setup would be! Listening to albums and watching blu-rays on here have been a revelation!

Yeah, GOG seriously needs to flesh out its racing library!

The grey and dull color theme is a major part of what limits Skyrim's replay appeal.
