I'm a big fan of 50's and 60's scifi and monster movies. From DESTROY ALL HUMANS to THE BUREAU DECLASSIFIED, I love 'em... and they go me to searching for games based on even earlier monsters like the classic Universal monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, Gillman, etc.)...

... but...

... nothing.

Sure, there are some point-and-click Frankenstein games and some modern takes on vampires, werewolves, etc... but -- other than a few virtual pinball games -- no real use of the classic Universal monsters. Maybe the console VAN HELSING game?

Anyway, I would love to see a Universal monsters game. I just can't believe that Universal hasn't commissioned games with those properties.
Darkstalkers was originally supposed to be licensed to be based on the Universal monsters, but in the end they just used fairly obvious knockoffs. There are also a couple of games actually licensed by Universal, such as Dracula: Crazy Vampire for the Game Boy Color.

Regarding your actual question: I wish so bad there were more games inspired by different Hong Kong martial arts movie actors. Most fighting games have the obvious Bruce Lee and there are plenty of licensed games for Jackie Chan movies, but beyond that many of the actors / their fighting style are massively underrepresented. For instance, i don't think the likes of Yuen Biao or James Tien ever had characters based upon them. Even massively popular Sammo Hung basically only had a character inspired by him in the RPG Live a Live.

There is no true "Humanity vs Kaiju" sort of simulator.
The last one was Godzilla on the C64 and that game was...eh meh not really that great.

I would really love a game where you fight against a giant monster using realpolitics and real world weaponry. Humanity unites or disolves under one threat. Sounds familar, eh :P?

Other than that, I would love a game like Battle Engine Aquila where besides being the super weapon, you also build the bases and armies and send them to your enemies. A RTS/Action hybrid like Battlezone, but you can switch perspective depending on the mode you choose on the fly. Stuff like that is awesome and not made often. Machines: Wired for War also partially did this.

I wish there was a honorverse cooked up superdubbed pc 4x major game, with lots of rpg elements
Has there been a Super Sentai that really captured the feel of the summoning of the super ships?

Michael Rennie was ill
The Day the Earth Stood Still
But he told us where we stand
And Flash Gordon was there
In silver underwear
Claude Rains was The Invisible Man
Then something went wrong
For Fay Wray and King Kong
They got caught in a celluloid jam
Then at a deadly pace
It Came From Outer Space
And this is how the message ran...

Science fiction (ooh ooh ooh) double feature
Doctor X (ooh ooh ooh) will build a creature
See androids fighting (ooh ooh ooh) Brad and Janet
Anne Francis stars in (ooh ooh ooh) Forbidden Planet
Wo oh oh oh oh oh
At the late night, double feature, picture show

Have you played The Deadly Tower of Monsters? Doesn't have Universal style monsters (I think) but it goes in that pulpy direction.

Anyway, what I want to see is more games with anthropomorphic mushrooms, like in the mushroom men games that already exist and Dark Souls. But I would want a game like The Settlers with those kind of creatures, could be more exotic races playable as well, I guess. Just have a thing for them, ok?

I also like games where you control a destructive monster, like the recently released Carrion, the Rampage series, The Dweller etc.

I would also play an old-school style FPS with a beat'em'up-like setting... like a Double Dragon or Streets of Rage game where you fight gang members, with a simple story, but as an FPS, and also in that retro 80s area.

Here's a concept that pops to mind every now and then... I guess it could apply to most game genres? Imagine going off to work while keeping your computer or console powered on, with said game still running in the background. I thought to myself, how cool (and creepy?) would it be to receive a text message to your actual smartphone while you were busy at work from an in-game character asking you for some valuable decision-making input or requesting that you meet them in-game at a particular place! The in-game character's AI would be advanced enough to send you an in-game photo from their perspective and even a recorded video, perhaps to keep you up-to-date with a situation or to share news of a treasure they found for you or to show you a video of a newly-discovered monster they spotted.

Naturally, this AI would be strictly sandboxed within the game itself, meaning that the game would be directly communicating with you via smartphone with no middleman in between (no spying on behalf of the publisher or some other server).

It's a bit of a silly concept, I know, but it's one that I think about from time to time, as I am not always free to sit at my computer. Life gets in the way sometimes. And it would be cool to know that my in-game character(s) are "thinking" of me as much as I am thinking of them when I am away from the keyboard. LOL! :P
I would love to see a video game with Bruce Lee but as a story rich rpg going through his life.

Sure, you know he dies in the end, but imagine the emotional investment learning what he actually went through. There could be a traction minigame, too.
From having played both SaGa Frontier games, I thought of an interesting concept:

Take a universe and plot structure along the lines of Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. You would choose an event taking place at some area of space-time in the universe, play through that event, and then would choose another one to play through. The growth system would be somewhat similar to SaGa Frontier, with different races following different rules, though adapted to a game where you constantly switch characters and parties. The game structure, then, would resemble SaGa Frontier 2, but instead of playing through less than a century of history, the events could easily span millenia.

The plot could cover such topics as the rise and fall of an entire empire (something SaGa Frontier 2 did, in a way), but would be in a more science fiction setting (or science fantasy, if you prefer) rather than medieval fantasy.
My wish is to see more games set in the Bronze Age. There are dozens of fascinating cultures in Antiquity that would shine in a game. There are a few strategy games that go into this (most notably the now over 20 years old Age of Empires), but I would also love to play an RPG or adventure game inspired by this era.

I have thought about having RPGs that are set in pre-medieval worlds.

One RPG that feels like it's set in such a world is Romancing SaGa (PS2, but probably applies to the original), which feels mostly like ancient history, more like the times that Greek or Roman civilizations were dominant, with an entire pantheon of gods that interact with the world to the point where it feels, in a way, like Greek mythology. (There is one area that'e medieval styled, but while there are some quests to do there, it doesn't feel like the game is centered around it at all, particularly when the game features other different areas, including an empire that isn't evil.)

Ont action adventure game (that is RPG-adjacent), perhaps, that explores this sort of thing is Secret of Evermore. The first era is pre-civilization, where the technology level is comparable to what you'd expect in a hunter-gatherer society. The second, I believe, is "antiquity", though that feels more like ancient Greece/Rome, perhaps more like Rome with there being a coliseum.

Chrono Trigger covers different eras, including a prehistoric one where there are dinosaurs (though there is a tribe of humans, which feels like it doesn't quite fit the era); it also has an era featuring a magical civilization.

Actually, that reminds me of something: Many fantasy RPGs have talk of some powerful ancient civiljzation. I would like to see more RPGs that take that idea and, instead of just mentioning it or *maybe* have it explored via time travel, set the entire game (or the majority of it) in such an era.

I did follow 0 A.D. extensively back in the day and played some of the Alphas. I even remember the times when The Last Alliance was being planned. I ended giving up on it because of the lack of direction. I appreciate what they managed to create for free, and they clearly had talented people because they produced gorgeous models and maps, but there's a lot more that is needed for a game to succeed. The project is old enough to have started as an Age of Empires 2 mod and it's still in development. I will re-visit it when (if) it's finished.

Anyway, it was more Iron than Bronze Age.

Interesting, I didn't know about any of them. I believe an "ambiguous Ancient setting" can do as well for fantasy worlds as a "generic Medieval setting".

I should very much like to see more of Perry Rhodan and its rich universe. Yes, there have been games, one of which was an RTS of sorts, the other two were adventures. Perry Rhodan: Operation Eastside, Perry Rhodan The Adventure and Die Verbotene Stadt (The forbidden city). It is such a rich universe that there is little you can't do with it: Adventure, 4x, RPG, Strategy you name it. As long as it is based on the original series and not NEO I would buy.
