Trooper1270: Equinox is pretty good too...

patrikc: I like Equinox as well. I generally listen to Jean-Michel Jarre in the summertime, I think it goes perfectly with the weather.
Yeah, a lot of Jean Michel Jarre's music is very mellow and ideal to chill-out too. I grew up listening (and hearing) his music a lot when I was a lot younger...

EDIT: Damn 10 minute edit window... Grrr!

Tranceparents - Child Two (Paul Van Dyk - Summer Love Remix)
The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping (long version)
Die Skeptiker - "Harte Zeiten"
Agalloch - The White EP (Remastered)
And, of course, I will always turn to their magnum opus:

Back in 2010, when they released Marrow of the Spirit, I would often go back and listen to their earlier works, especially The White EP since I like clean vocals better. But, in time, I learned to appreciate Marrow of the Spirit (it's dense, dramatic, even aggressive at times, but also somewhat melancholic) and one piece in particular stood out: Black Lake Niðstång, the centerpiece of the album, an impressive and emotional 17+ minutes tale of a ritual. John's howl at the end of the second verse is like nothing I've heard from him (while with Agalloch). This particular verse, in which he becomes the voice of the níðstang, is simply outstanding - if you listen closely, it's not only a powerful curse, but also an affront to the gods - the destructive nature of the curse is everlasting, the creators of space and time themselves cannot stop it.
One of the reasons I love this song so much is that it can be taken as a lesson - I like to think it's about willpower.
Rome - Pornero
When he recorded this piece, Jérôme taped an old telephone (which he used as a mic) to his strap, hence the sound. I appreciate the use of banjo here.

Black Lake is good one
Sometimes I wish Agalloch would come back to life, despite their differences.
John Haughm had a few projects (prior to the split he collaborated with Mattias Grassow, then founded Pillorian, after which he followed a solo career), whereas 3 other Agalloch former members (Don Anderson - guitar, Jason Walton - bass and Aesop Dekker - drums) went their way with Khôrada.
I think Haughm always used to lean more towards black/dark metal (as evidenced by Pillorian's Obsidian Arc album (here's A Stygian Pyre), whereas his former colleagues had a different approach, more experimental, atmospheric, post-metal: Ossify.

One thing is for sure: I miss how well they used to work together.
Not Unlike the Waves.
Ashes Against the Grain was a fantastic album, in my opinion superior to The Mantle.

I'm enjoying this. Pretty good indeed.

Maxi Jazz actually messed up some of the lyrics here, but at least they were having fun. Faithless used to be great.
