Up to 70% off Stronghold HD, Stronghold Crusader HD, Expeditions: Conquistador and more!

Ain't no one too cool for school. Ain't no one. Not even GOG.com. We still enjoy a brief History Lesson from time to time, especially the gaming kind. And that's what these Weekly Staff Picks are all about, because sometimes medieval settings are better with a splash of authenticity, not dragons and magic. Sometimes.

Feel the massive scale and intrigue of a medieval kingdom in Crusader Kings - engage in courtly intrigue and betrayal, bribe, manipulate, and assassinate your way into wealth and power. King Arthur’s Gold gives you the freedom to build up, or dig down, to fortify your position against a fury of troops, siege weapons, and vehicles. This week you can also get medieval on your foes. In HD! Stronghold HD and Stronghold Crusader HD are two memorable medieval RTS games simulating pre-firearm warfare, newly upgraded with High Definition graphics. With a major modding community and a unique opportunity to become a medieval warlord in charge of a small army (and your own piece of land) it's no wonder these two became timeless classics. The package comes with the HD re-releases as well as the originals! Set in the newly-discovered Americas, Expeditions: Conquistador gives you the opportunity to play through the discovery of a wondrous new land and people. Follow the intricately branching plot and choose to follow the path that history has laid out for you, or take things in a new direction and discover one of history's greatest What-if scenarios.

Our History Lesson is in session starting now! Pick up these amazing learning materials at up to 70% off in this week's Weekly Staff Picks. The promo will last until Thursday, May 21, 9:59 AM GMT.

Fesin: please release the Linux version of the game "Expeditions: Conquistador" on GOG.com,
+1 for this. It came out a long time ago already!
I was going to buy some of these titles but I already had them all bar one but it did not inform me I had them already. When I went to the respective titles page it did not show I owned it already. I definitely did though.

Lucky I checked. I might have bought a title twice. :( It's a bit of a worry if it would let me buy something I already owned twice though.

I think the system that compares titles you are looking at with what is in your library might be broken.

Just wanted to let GoG know.

Woolytoes: Then talk some sense into Logic Artists to release the Linux version on GOG.
Have you written to Logic Artists to request the addition? I'm willing to add my voice to the effort; I don't use Linux personally, but every GOG user should have the opportunity to play this game regardless of OS.

You might want to send a support ticket so this info goes to the right people.
Stronghold sounds like it might interest me because it look much like Rise Of Nations... but it's not RoN... it's "stuck" in the medieval age. and i don't really care much for the castle building part.
Picked up a gift copy of King Arthurs Gold (the alleged comparisons to worms and the building stuff intrigued me - but not enough to instabuy for myself).

Can anyone enlighten me as to the singleplayer experience?! - seems soe of the reviews focus on the multiplayer aspect. If thats the focus, it goes on the gift pile for later.
I don't understand why Victoria Complete isn't on the list .
