The fast, the furious, and the hidden.

Frantic arcade gunfights, lightning-fast kicks, an explosion of colored lights: this is the backbone of our Weekly Sale Vol. 25
Plus grab Hidden & Dangerous Action Pack and Hidden & Dangerous 2 , the tactical WWII shooters where every bullet counts, at 75% off!

But the sale is also more than that - there are strategic challenges, intense dogfights, and even a dash of relaxing adventuring in here. Let's look at some of the standouts:

No elaborate introductions necessary when talking about Metal Slug - we all remember the insatiable arcade machines where the series used to thrive. No need for coins now - just fire it up and get down to taking care of unfinished business with the touch of a button.

Attractive girls with gravity-defying hairdos? Flashy powers and turn-based, explosive combat? Elaborate and character-driven storylines involving the dreaded Console War? That's Hyperdimension Neptunia for you - a cheeky jRPG series that truly knows how to have fun!

As always, there is more: Sid Meier's Colonization, Requiem: Avenging Angel, Fatal Fury Special, Samurai Shodown, and plenty of others!

The Weekly Sale Vol. 25 and Hidden & Dangerous discounts will last until August 7 , 4 PM UTC.

SpiderFighter: Can someone confirm if the Deadlock games work on Win 10 64-bit, please?

victorchopin: The 2nd one works flawlessly on Windows 10, 7, Intel Hd, ancient Radeon Card(s), old GeForce, laptop ones.... and the list goes on ;P

source: me

edit: first one works fine, too!
Thanks a lot! It's time to move these from the Wishlist into the Library, then. :)

ped7g: Sure, that's why I warned you about "very biased opinion", you can't take this seriously from ex-dev. BTW Hard West looks quite good to me (I did saw just few minutes of game play video, didn't have time to try myself... as with other 600+ games I have in my backlog ... ;)
I'll go back to it and give it another try some day, but I guess the market for this kind of game is just really saturated. It seems everyone is making turn-based RPGs and XCOM-clones through Kickstarter nowadays, and most of them are better than Hard West. I looked over some reviews real quick, and it seems it isn't just me. It generally got very average reviews. But as I said, I will give it another shot someday, and it's nice to see a game set in the wild west for a change :)

TeBBuTT: I would like to buy Hidden & Dangerous Action Pack, as well as Hidden & Dangerous 2, however clicking any of the links you provide above, redirects to https://www.gog.com/games?sort=popularity&page=1 :(
Yeah the usual "not available in your region" without anything saying so. And this is how it's going to stay it seems (both the region unavailability and no information) which makes no sense since they were sold here. So VPN seems to be the only way and they are really cheap right now. Once in your library you can download them from anywhere.

Random_Coffee: The last time a ex-dev told me that, I bought the game (Hard West) and wasn't that impressed :P H&D2 does indeed seem excellent though. I think this will be a buy for sure :)
For me H&D1 was more rounded gameplay overall and more realistic to complete. Haven't played H&D2 on the easier settings but on hard it's like every enemy has laser precision from miles away.

In short it's not just about the difficulty but H&D1 seemed more focused on the tactical side while H&D2 is more FPS locate the enemy (if you can) and try not to get killed before you can kill them.
nice
Not complaining, but just curious... has GOG stopped doing the Friday updates for the weekly sales?

As far as I know they have stopped adding games on a Friday to the weekly sale.

But they've been adding another sale on the last few Fridays, so hopefully we'll see something new in a bit.
EDIT: If not, there's still a couple of hours left before the Build A Bundle presale ends on Groupees, and the new Humble Monthly bundle drops in about 4 hours. It's a good day to be a gamer! :D

It seems if they have two sales going at once they don't add anything new on Fridays to the weekly sale.
As far as I can see the standard Hidden & Dangerous game has a lot of problems with Linux and Wine. Only the Deluxe Edition works with Wine.

What are the differences between the Hidden & Dangerous Action Pack and the free Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe Edition? Does the Action Pack contain anything which is not included in the Deluxe Edition?

At the current price I wouldn't mind to buy the game from GOG. But is there anything which makes it worth to buy it? Even more as Hidden & Dangerous 2 seems to be the better game.

I know this is a bit late but it seems the action pack includes both. The deluxe has 1 or 2 extra levels but many people seem to prefer the regular version. But if you don't want to buy it for convenience or to supports the developers you can just download the deluxe as I'm not aware of anything in the action pack it doesn't contain.
