The fast, the furious, and the hidden.

Frantic arcade gunfights, lightning-fast kicks, an explosion of colored lights: this is the backbone of our Weekly Sale Vol. 25
Plus grab Hidden & Dangerous Action Pack and Hidden & Dangerous 2 , the tactical WWII shooters where every bullet counts, at 75% off!

But the sale is also more than that - there are strategic challenges, intense dogfights, and even a dash of relaxing adventuring in here. Let's look at some of the standouts:

No elaborate introductions necessary when talking about Metal Slug - we all remember the insatiable arcade machines where the series used to thrive. No need for coins now - just fire it up and get down to taking care of unfinished business with the touch of a button.

Attractive girls with gravity-defying hairdos? Flashy powers and turn-based, explosive combat? Elaborate and character-driven storylines involving the dreaded Console War? That's Hyperdimension Neptunia for you - a cheeky jRPG series that truly knows how to have fun!

As always, there is more: Sid Meier's Colonization, Requiem: Avenging Angel, Fatal Fury Special, Samurai Shodown, and plenty of others!

The Weekly Sale Vol. 25 and Hidden & Dangerous discounts will last until August 7 , 4 PM UTC.

Wishbone: At which point does it just become ridiculous to keep track of exactly how many weekly sales there have been? I mean, they're weekly. They happen every week.
I'm not even certain that Vol. 1 was the first one.

I would like to buy Hidden & Dangerous Action Pack, as well as Hidden & Dangerous 2, however clicking any of the links you provide above, redirects to https://www.gog.com/games?sort=popularity&page=1 :(

Since I just confirmed both links working, it seems that the games are restricted and can't be bought in South Africa. Sorry about that.
"Weekly Sale Vol. 25: Up to 75% off Hidden & Dangerous, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Metal Slug, Dragonsphere, and more"

Announcing Hidden & Dangerous as the first games of the weekly sale and then excluding them from the promo page totally makes sense. Does it?

tinyE: Do the Deadlock games have a tutorial?
Yes both do, Deadlock P C holds your hand and tells you what to do, nice if your box fresh to the game world.
Deadlock Shrine Wars, tut works more like civilopedia i say that and have no clue if you play Civ XD.
So start with one, and then quit and buy civ *cough* :D

ped7g: How they are: I find the HD1 a bit crude, but if you like tactical shooters, it may be worth a shot (pun...). In my *very biased* opinion (ex dev of HD2 ;) ) I believe the HD2 is excellent game. ;) ... And for current sale price tag even checking the screenshot should be enough for insta-buy.
Sounds good. I do like tactical shooters (ArmA), and I recently thought about how I really wished there were more WWII-games. I'll see if my friends are interested in co-op, but if not, it's probably worth it for the single player anyway. Do I need Hamachi, or are the servers still up?

The last time a ex-dev told me that, I bought the game (Hard West) and wasn't that impressed :P H&D2 does indeed seem excellent though. I think this will be a buy for sure :)
Picked up hidden and dangerous 2. I already own physical copy so I was waiting for a sale like this. Thanks.

For anyone curious, it's pretty much the original ghost recon with ww2 skins. Some differences of course, but overall it's how it feels.

Random_Coffee: Do I need Hamachi, or are the servers still up?
I'm sorry, I didn't try the MP patching myself, I think the Hamachi is not used for that, but they must somehow replace the GameSpy server functionality. I just don't know whether somebody coded some custom solution, or there is some general replacement with different service provider. There are few active people still contributing to forums/etc (so check there for how-to), while I didn't play the game for ~10 years.

Sure, that's why I warned you about "very biased opinion", you can't take this seriously from ex-dev. BTW Hard West looks quite good to me (I did saw just few minutes of game play video, didn't have time to try myself... as with other 600+ games I have in my backlog ... ;) ). So it looks like you probably never developed any SW, particularly game, and you are still able to check them with fresh critical eye and being rational, good for you. Sort of. Once you will try to dev yourself something, you will become much more relaxed toward some imperfections, and unimportant little details, like for example "CTD every 30min which will be fixed in next patch (tm)"... Making it easier to enjoy other production as well. Even just to see *something* released usually counts as legit effort, even if it's bugfest ;) (That CTD is just made-up example, HD2 should be quite solid, IIRC).

The 2nd one works flawlessly on Windows 10, 7, Intel Hd, ancient Radeon Card(s), old GeForce, laptop ones.... and the list goes on ;P

edit: first one works fine, too!

Random_Coffee: How's Eradicator?
Pretty good I might say. Weapons and itens are a plus but be warned that it's a pretty long game. Took me like 10h or so to finish it and I didn't even care about secret levels that much. 3rd person ""view"" is a plus (I guess?) ;P

The-Business: Is there a reason why the Hidden & Dangerous games are not part of the list bust can only be purchased from their game pages?
This way, even their discounts are hidden and dangerous.
Great deal for Sid Meier's Colonization as well. :)

joppo: Yay, we can get Dragonsphere 75% off instead of the 100% we used to a few years ago. Thanks, Retroism!
I'm still waiting for 5 more Dragonsphere updates.
