The Book of Unwritten Tales, Desperados, Full Spectrum Warrior, Red Faction, and more...

Whether you're in the mood for something seriously classic, something unique and independent, or adventure, or tactics, one thing's for sure: Weekly Sale Vol. 26 has it all.

Plus, get everything War for the Overworld at up to 67% off for the next two weeks!

What's else is really worth checking out this week?

Tactical games – they don't make them like Full Spectrum Warrior these days. But they certainly used to, and if you're in the mood for a bit of difficulty in a highly realistic military setting, you certainly shouldn't miss these. There's also Desperados – a top-down stealth-tactics game bringing Commandos-inspired gameplay to the wild west. The graphics, and the style, remain charming to this day – and the challenge may have even gotten sweeter.

Or aim for something a bit more modern (and a bit less punishing) with The Dwarves, The Book of Unwritten Tales, This is the Police, de Blob 1 & 2 and many many more – all in our Weekly Sale Vol. 26!

The weekly sale will last until August 14, 4PM UTC. War for the Overworld series is on sale until August 21, 5 PM UTC.
I think it's:

Looks tempting, but on the other hand I have soo much backlog ...

How good is the game anyway? Anybody played it?

Needs more old games. Comanche, Armored Fist, Red Faction 3 & 4, etc..

GOG wants to sell me more games. I want to buy more games. I can't understand why Nordic is dragging their heels.
One of the first games i bought when i joined GOG was Nexus: Jupiter Incident. It had a decent discount but i didn't know at the time where i was getting into. And oh boy, the game delivered; excellent tactical gameplay, great graphics with magnificent explosions and many little details, a nice UI, very good sound effects and surprisingly good voice acting. If you're interested in space action and love strategy games, you should definitely try it.

I think it is "The Dwarves". Not sure about the different graphics though, must be some artwork.

One of your links to the promo pages again is a HTTP URL. ;P
Picked up the Delta Force games, I regretted not buying them at launch, ... gonna pretend I'm Chuck Norris as I play through them.

Eventually yes, but not without performing a HTTP request first and sending your cookies unencrypted over the wire for use by others. ;)

At least we can be sure that GOG office has not been conquered by robots. Yet ;)
Enjoy :)
The sale is not my cup of tea, but have a nice shopping, dear friends. I was considering to buy Nations series (looks like nice Settlers-like strategy game), but I suppose I won't be able to play soon, so I may just keep waiting as well.
What is the game pictured on the sale page?

Vythonaut:
Considering that's the at least third time I've seen that question here, maybe putting the title of the game a picture comes from in one of the lower corners would be a good idea?

And yes I remember when MTV did that back when they actually played music videos. :)
