GOGuser736: I remember gog mix. They should have told people so they could back up their work instead of being surprise deleted.

Ahh, blast from the past! Thanks for the memories! :-D

Thankfully, the way it went down I was able to make a backup txt file at the time. The gogmix functionality broke (intentionally?) and I wasn't able to add or remove games or make any edits whatsoever for about a month before they were removed altogether. At the time I was already wary of how gog handles these kinds of things, so I had a hunch they'd remove the mixes in the near future. Turns out that's exactly what they did. Shitty move, a lot of people put in a lot of work into their mixes.

IIRC, the removal of gogmixes coincided with a website overhaul, which happened to nuke at least half a dozen reviews I had written (some of them being voted "most helpful" by the community, Larry Reloaded and Hitman Contracts come to mind). In the case of the missing reviews, I think it was gross incompetence, but I'm 99% certain the gogmix removal was done out of malice.

What was gogmix? I don't recall it so kinda wondering what it was

They were basically user generated lists of games. You wrote down a title for the list (ie. "Games I like", "Games that run on Linux", "Games that focus on rural life" - anything - your imagination was the limit!) and then added suitable games to your list (you could also add a short comment on each game). These lists could be edited and revised as much as you liked, which already put them a notch above most of gog's community features in terms of functionality.

Ah no wonder I wasn't aware of it .. I likily would have never used it if I indeed was using G.O.G when it was a thing ..

GOG doesn’t give a shit about the community nowadays.

My ramblings over a few titles (skip if you don't care what I'm squitting, or barking about):

Moon Hunters is a bit cheaper on Steam and this annoys me a little. This and the apparently broken on-line play...I'm considering it though.
GRIP could be great, but no online - and again, basically the same price that it has on Steam, where it offers online multi.
Bulb Boy: short and funny, a bit gross sometimes. Had it on Steam on a giveaway but I think it's well worth the asking price.
American McGee's Grimm - I think I got this on Humble. I didn't "get it" at the time. I just want the Alice games...then I might even rebuy Grimm here to celebrate XD
Book of Demons: had with a free code on Big Fish, and got bored really soon - I don't say it's bad, maybe it's not what I was expecting. I feel it's more suited to be a tablet game.
The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça and Pizzaboy: I'm not in the comic book, but it looks cool and an adventure that feels like a "talking comic book" with German dub is appealing. Probably gonna get this one...
Meanwhile, I have (re)completed the Last Door with the second part. I had kickstarted the game originally but the devs decided to close access to the game (that was DRM-ed) to the backers without offering keys. I rebought part one on GOG only to find out that the Japanese translation present in the webpage version was gone here. The lesson was learned: buy DRM-free and never kickstart/pre-order. But it's a terrific game so I'm happy to have it available in its complete form again. Also, Game Kitchen has made ammends with the free Blasphemous DLC so I have absolved them from sin.
I would have a question for those, who have GRIP in their library: did anyone of you try to play in splitscreen mode? Does it work or is it included?

Because on the gamepage, there is a screenshots (gif animation), but it is not mentioned elsewhere.

Just another reminder that you still haven't adjusted the prices for the games published by Blue Moon Red Owl / Funbox Media.

In January 2018, all these games became cheaper on Steam, and you still have outdated price tags.

Here's the entire list of games with price comparison:
- Expendable - $5.99 | $3.99 on Steam;
- Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Incoming + Incoming Forces - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Litil Divil - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Mobile Forces - $5.99 | $3.99 on Steam;
- Normality - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Nosferatu: Wrath of Malachi - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Realms of the Haunting - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Slipstream 5000 - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam;
- Soulbringer - $5.99 | $2.99 on Steam.

Regional prices for these games have also been reduced.

At first I thought that Blue Moon Red Owl / Funbox Media had simply abandoned GOG, but since all of these games are on sale now (as part of the weekly sale), the publisher and the store are still in touch.

I have reported these price differences many times since 2020, but nothing has been done so far. Have you heard anything about this situation from your Russian-speaking colleagues? I ask because I have a strong feeling that my reports haven't been forwarded anywhere.
