Mmm, nutritious.

Know these nights where you wanna order in but you just don't know what you're in the mood for? Now, wouldn't it be cool if -instead of having to pick pizza for the umpteenth time- you could get a snack sampler with several delicacies from a dozen different places? Pretty much like this Weekly Sale!
Here are a couple of standout samples:

Bouncy, explosive, mean, but mostly downright cute. Those colorful blobs need a steady hand and adaptive mind to put them in order in this wacky and endlessly rewarding action/adventure. As a Slime Rancher extraordinaire, you are exactly the right person for the job.

They are coming at you. Wailing, moaning, clattering, and writhing, the floating horrors of the abyss are after your soft, squishy flesh. All you have to stave them off is an endless supply of Devil Daggers and your wicked-quick reflexes. But how many seconds will these buy you?

The Weekly Sale ends July 9, 10 PM UTC.

Uilos: Personally I upvote reviews for the same reason as you, and I especially upvote reviews with important information about what's included and such if there are several different versions around :) Things like that can be good to know when deciding if this is the version you want or not :D
I agree with you, that's also a good practice.

GOG.com: Slime Rancher

Devil Daggers
Still not linkified. Does not work in Galaxy. You bothered to bold them, but not to link them. I can't buy bold.

Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri -80% on GOG.com

There are no reviews from new players. All the reviews are nostalgia reviews.

Themken: Are the dlc's to Starpoint Gemini 2 worth having? Any? All?
I enjoyed them. Although once you have you Titan, there's not much else to do.

New additions to the Weekly sale:

Butcher - New GoG Historic Best (50% off vs 40% off)
BUTCHER - Extended Soundtrack [DLC] - Matches GoG Historic Best (40% off)
King Arthur's Gold Matches GoG Historic Best (70% off)
I got an ITAD notification that King Arthur's Gold is on sale at Steam for $2.49 and here at GOG for $2.99. I was previously unaware this game was available on GOG.com, so I was about to buy the supposedly DRM-free GOG version when I noticed most of the positive reviews are about the multiplayer, and GOG's version has DRM on the multiplayer features of the game. I'm unclear on why I should buy this game for a higher price at GOG when both Steam and GOG are locked-down under DRM. Can someone tell me what the difference is between the GOG and Steam versions?

I suspect it will be easier to just get the Steam version for less money and better multiplayer support, if all other things are equal, including the DRM. I'm guessing the DRM will also eventually make the game not work for multiplayer anymore. Is that correct? If yes, then I won't feel like I "own" this game, when that's my primary motivation for buying (collecting) more GOG games than I can realistically play each year.

Why does Turok not have the Linux-version on GOG yet? Any word from Nightdive on this?
Good question.
I decided not to get King Arthur's Gold, because the reviews indicate there is no viable single player mode, and the multiplayer mode has DRM. I feel offended the game is even on GOG. It doesn't belong here, and I feel like someone is trying to deceive me. It's one thing to cut out the multiplayer features and offer a DRM-free single player version of the game on GOG. It is quite another thing to try to sell me a game that only works with DRM.

I will say it again. King Arthur's Gold has DRM and it does not belong on GOG.com. I'm offended it was offered to me. I normally purchase without hesitation on GOG, and I feel this has been an abuse of my trust. I feel very bitter about the presence of this game on my favorite DRM-free gaming website.

I'm with you about this. I recently ran across a similar situation. Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition has a single player and a multiplayer mode, but in order to access all of the content that is supposed to be available to the single player campaign, the offline installer requires internet access to verify the date and time. This is a textbook case of DRM, and it has no place on GOG. King Arthur's Gold sounds like it's far worse, however, as it sounds like there isn't even any single player content at all, whereas Dying Light is simply missing a few minor content drops. King Arthur's Gold sounds like it's as bad as GWENT in terms of being DRM-only and therefore not belonging on this site at all. They say it won't happen, but I won't be surprised at all when GOG makes Galaxy mandatory, at which point I'll pack up my offline installers and take my business to storefronts that are run by people who don't outright lie about their business model/mission statement.

Kim (67% vs 66% bundled vs 60% singled)
[...]
Loved the novel.
Thinking of buying it.
Did anyone here play the game?
I'd like to get Butcher but it seems too hard for me to invest in it now. I mean it as an investment of efforts. I am doing poorly with Devil Daggers already (can't go past 89 seconds so I gotta try bunny hopping maybe). I might see if I can get better at Abuse though. By the way Abuse is now a free game you can get at the authors website (I mention it, as the top reviewer does, because it is clearly an influence on Butcher).

I have, I have not gone far but it was a nice experience. Think of Unrest but with a bigger feeling of freedom. I have not played more than 3 hours.
I think it is worth the 5 € it costs now.

It is understandable if a game developer or publisher decides to use DRM to protect their intellectual property when it is new and most valuable. That's their choice, and if I don't like it, I simply won't buy it. GOG just tried to sell me a game under their DRM-free banner, and I nearly bought it without realizing it's actually not DRM-free. If the game owners don't want to take their DRM out, it should not be offered to me under GOG's DRM-free banner. It's deceptive and repugnant, and I don't want anything to do with it when I feel like I can't continue to safely buy whatever I want immediately, with no hesitation anymore.

I really, really like GOG, but one bad apple spoils the bunch, and as far as I'm concerned, I feel like I just stepped in a big smooshy pile of poo while walking barefoot in the immaculate GOG palace. It would be nice if I didn't have to worry about things like that, but now I realize it's not so clean here as I thought it was. It's going to take a while to get the poo stink off of me.

I'm not sure what to do next. Maybe I should go outside and enjoy summer instead of playing games. Then I might be able to actually step in real poo :)

Bought it. The current price is fine for me.
From the gameplay videos and reviews I watched, I think I will like the game.
