Thanks to the both of you for answering my questions.
Mori_Yuki: So there is only this last question, can it be gifted/transferred? Will GOG do this if asked?
pazZzurro: You can of course try, but I would say it's higly unlikely.
Basically it work's like this - you buy a game, and get two versions. You yourself can play whichever you choose.
But another person still has to buy their own game. If you could simply gift unwanted game versions it would discourage others from buying them themselves.
And even if you would be allowed to gift it to someone, I'm sure GOG could do it only if you transferred both versions... effectively losing your own rights to the game, so still the result is similar.
Since it isn't possible and I don't wish to bother support with it, the German Edition will end up collecting virtual dust in my library. :D
I was aware that games like Wolfenstein were banned in Germany for a very long time. It is difficult to understand Germanies censorship laws and what's been censored or outright banned, violence, blood turned green -> Tomb Raider III? Blue Max, River Raid, Vietcong many of which should also be available to you now?

@GOG team, in case you read this, maybe you could add a code for the German and/or any censored version, instead of adding both to someones library, so that at least one can be gifted to someone who can't afford it or doesn't mind getting a censored version?
