They don't make 'em like that anymore.

They were always there when we needed them the most.

To distract us from homework. To teach us the art of sleepless rejuvenation. To scare us. Excite us. Make us scratch our head.

Now they've returned to remind us how it's done. Sporting big discounts. For old times' sake.

The Weekend Sale ends November 19th, 11 PM UTC.
Hey, did the news post show up in here all on its own? Sometimes some things are getting better here occasionally.

EDIT: I still got a nice 404 so not all is well...

The very first post in a news thread is always problematic, then it works just like normal.
Thanks for bringing back weekend sales with dedicated sale pages!
For any fellow adventurers I cannot recommend Timelapse enough. First-person adventure, different civilizations to visit, HARD puzzles to solve & lots of reading to do. It came out about the same time as Atlantis (the Lost Tales) but somehow it never got as famous as the latter (in my opinion Timelapse is way superior to Atlantis in every aspect).
Also, finally grabbed Titanic : Adventure out of Time, could not resist the price! Let's hope the iceberg doesn't melt until I find the time to play the game (very bad pun intended).
how's the journeyman project trilogy? I'm not a huge fan of first person games, adventure or otherwise, but the time travel stuff intrigues me, and of course I love cheesy fmv.
low rated

A few years ago a local radio station did a poll on which character in The Breakfast Club people most related to.

#1 was The Basket Case.

#2 was Claire's lipstick.

its ok and fun if you play with a walkthru to avoid excessive backtracking and loading times. if i remember right the games played well with no glitches
Yeessss, sales on the truly classic games, I sure could use that more often. And sales on the Myst games, I could certainly also use.

They're absolutely hilarious, totally worth picking up.

Ah, The Breakfast Club. Good movie containing the whole Brat Pack. By the way, has there been a movie with Molly Ringwald in the last 20 years? I don`t know a single one.

She lives in Paris full time, does a lot of indies, a lot of producing, a lot of stage work, and of course she had one of the leads in the TV version of The Stand.

I can't think of any of the five that really has a rocking career right now.

Yeah, I`ve seen the TV version of The Stand, but this was made about 1994 or 95, so it`s longer ago than 20 years.
How have I missed Metal Fatigue all this time?

Definitely need to take a closer look at this weekend sale.
I should probably grab Forsaken now, but GOG already has me almost cleaned out for the rest of the month.
