There's never enough Disney in your life!

For us PC gamers, a Disney Publisher Sale means something more than just movies. Nowadays, it's also the best place for all your Point & Click adventures needs.

To celebrate great Disney classics with style, we're starting off with the release of Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow and Disney's Hercules, both -15% off!

Maniac Mansion, The Secret of Monkey Island, and Sam & Max Hit the Road are all available with -65% off.

Next up: A very charming guy with a hat and a whip. All four classic Indiana Jones adventure games are part of the sale with up to -65%! And if you like Dr. Jones a bit more blocky, you can also get both LEGO Indiana Jones games with -75% off each.

But that's not all. There's also a good amount of variety gaming going on, with noteworthy examples such as Outlaws + A Handful of Missions (-65%), The Incredible Machine Mega Pack (-75%), Armed and Dangerous (-65%), or TRON 2.0 (-75%).

The Disney Publisher Sale lasts until May 20th, 10PM UTC.
Thanks GOG and Disney for Hercules :P. The first game i played on PC. Hopefully Tarzan will be here soon :)

gandalfnho: Nice releases. Is the same Maui Mallard game released in the Genesis/Mega Drive?
Yup, it's the same game, aside from technical differences (better color palette and great soundtrack in PC version).

I'm truly amazed what games recently GOG acquired from Disney. At the same time - it's a bit surprising those "revived" games are more "accessible" than games re-released already in other places (like this Duck Tales remaster or this collection of four NES games also available only on Steam). I'm not going to complain though, more juicy and colorful platform games from 90' is surely a nice addition to GOG catalogue.

That is a VERY ominous statement, depending on who you ask about the omnipresence of Disney owned subsidiary companies...
Buying Hercules is going to be the first thing I'm doing tomorrow.

Looking at the screenshots I'm realizing yet again that all you need as a kid is your imagination, the game looked just like the cartoon back then. :)

Nice! So we should expect something on Monday if I am reading correct? The way they said they are starting with these two games.

gamesfreak64: seen many disney movies , read many donald ducks , but never heard of those 2 games
must have sneaked past me , i do know the classic jungle boo and alladin and lion kin we have but the games released now are unknown to me.

Anyway i see: ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF USE REQUIRED TO PLAY, on the gamepage :D
unless it needs online connection to play
, why the long and redundant boring Disney terms ? ( all terms are boring btw)

Always bla bla copyright ,and the subscribtion :D if a game is DRM free and i buy it, i see it as owned by me, nothing you subscribed thing.... :D
A subscription is reccuring and can be canceled, getting a game is NOT a subscription , the game is considered as bought .

GameRager: Technically, all you buy(according to game makers) when buying games is a LICENSE to play the games & they give you a copy of the game to use that license.

Ya, I know, they don't like people owning their stuff...but what can you do. :\
Maybe they like to call it a licence because they believe we might think we actually own the game in a way that we the gamer can do with it as we please and maybe resell it , change it , reverse it whatever.... i still call it own because a licence is something different.

Google:

Definition of licence - a permit from an authority to own or use something, do a particular thing, or carry on a trade (especially in alcoholic drink), fr.
i have no intention other then to keep it for myself, no trade, just keep it and play it.

Licence as in expiring ones, i buy a game, never have to extend the period to use it again, so no, buying a game is no licence .

Anyway , when it come to terms ( TOS) EULA ) all the big companies turn into 'crybabies', pointing the little finger to the 'bad' customer telling them,

" remember" you DO NOT own it, not now , not ever , don't you ever forget that"

Hillarious those developers/ publishers grownup people behaving like crybabies.: sad (◕︵◕)

does Disney know it reads: ITEMS YOU OWN ( sorry for caps but the text is in caps)

Intentions or no, most companies believe it to be so and some countries enforce such eula terms, and if a court upholds it as such then that's how it is(unless you can somehow change the law on your own).

Finally I can play Hercules. Always wanted to play it.
So is Cold Shadow just another sub-par console port like the other 2D Disney games on here or by some miracle does it have parity?

I would have taken Aladdin too, but it's not on sale. Thanks for Escape from Monkey Island at a great price, replaces my old discs with ResidualVM.
Having played both games and loosing the discs at some point, I bought those games again on ps1 and mega drive last month, now I have to buy them for the third time! >:(

Of course a court upholds it , even so just because some official(s) tell it is, does not mean it is absolutely right , afterall they usually tend to do what companies say :D
