There's never enough Disney in your life!

For us PC gamers, a Disney Publisher Sale means something more than just movies. Nowadays, it's also the best place for all your Point & Click adventures needs.

To celebrate great Disney classics with style, we're starting off with the release of Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow and Disney's Hercules, both -15% off!

Maniac Mansion, The Secret of Monkey Island, and Sam & Max Hit the Road are all available with -65% off.

Next up: A very charming guy with a hat and a whip. All four classic Indiana Jones adventure games are part of the sale with up to -65%! And if you like Dr. Jones a bit more blocky, you can also get both LEGO Indiana Jones games with -75% off each.

But that's not all. There's also a good amount of variety gaming going on, with noteworthy examples such as Outlaws + A Handful of Missions (-65%), The Incredible Machine Mega Pack (-75%), Armed and Dangerous (-65%), or TRON 2.0 (-75%).

The Disney Publisher Sale lasts until May 20th, 10PM UTC.

GOG.com: - Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
- The Dig
Excellent games and their price is a steal.

Fortuk: Depends on how good you are, as it can get quite difficult. No way I beat this in 4 hours.
Yeah, well...I wouldn't refer to myself as a hardcore speedrunning guy...but 40 hours for a jump'n'run is probably promising a bit too much playtime.
Even if you need six, or eight or ten hours to beat it - that's still a far cry from 40 hours.
i like how hercules actually has "action game" in the title so there's no mistaking that it is indeed an action game.

Oh sure, its not 40 hours either; I don't know where they got that from.
Nice sale.....some of my favorite titles are on sale, including:

Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis/Last Crusade - Two gem adventure games from the classic point-click/verb select era, with some memorable moments/fun puzzles/etc. The first(publishing date wise) is tied to one of the original films and the second isn't but it is still very much a good game.

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine - This game is a good shooter & addition to the Indian Jones universe with many nice looking/themed locations and a good storyline, along with revisiting areas you missed during the story(due to not being able to reach them or not having the right equipment) in a nice/believable fashion.

The Dig - I never finished this one(too many ways to do stuff for my mind to keep track of), but it is a great point-click with killer music/great intro/sci-fi & "are we alone" theme/memorable and likable characters. Definitely a MUST BUY for fans of Lucasarts/Scifi & Aliens themed games/point-click in general.

(Also the whole subplot of "should we use a tech or not due to it's morality" is also good)

Sam & Max Hit The Road - While I never played this game when it originally released, I DID play a "scurvied" copy long ago and found it immensely good. If you're a fan of crude humor/Sam & Max in general/buddy cop style antics, this one is for you.

The Monkey island games are also very good(even the 4th one with it's weird controls/3d graphics has some good humor & great moments)
=============================================

I have likely more comments on the other games but i'd at least recommend the games above if they fit your criterion/genre preferences.
Cold Shadow!
...Win 7, meh. Don't want to look at that thing. And I hate PCs... I mean, keyboards. I also never got anywhere so I don't know if I would want to even try.
Still, nice to see it again.
This is a great sale, and happy to see two new releases. Thank you for the great additions, GOG and Disney.
Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow is an instant buy for me!

BreOl72: Tbh - I was pretty sure that the 40 hours are a typo.

But thank you for your confirmation, nonetheless. :)

The gamecard is already corrected!

Apparently our marketing guy was too excited about this game when creating this post :P

At least he didn't list the completion time as 9004 hours. ;) o.0

Can someone confirm if Hercules can work with dgVoodoo (DX11 conversion) and allow higher resolutions for polygonal graphics?

Hopefully Ashlee/others can chime in....otherwise it'll be hard to answer as not many(if any) have played GOG's version yet.
Two great games, nice to see them here.
By the way, Maui Mallard has a very nice music by Michael Giacchino.
A bit out of left field, but I ain't complaining if Disney feels like letting GOG having a crack at more of their older catalog. :)

Awesome! I hope a Toy Story 2 Action Game release will happen in the near future. The Tarzan game would be great too.

"Herculade" - made me think of OneyPlays and Chris messing with Zach about "Herculad"

Maui seems like it's from the era most difficult to get running on modern machines (if a game isn't DOS, which Maui isn't); I'd be interested in hearing from Thiev if this was a tough nut to crack or not. (maybe it's not so difficult nowadays thanks to GOG in-house tech?)
