60% off all Interplay treasures: Freespace 2, Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, Sacrifice, Toonstruck, and more!

What's your usual mood while gaming? Do you feel relaxed? Focused? Determined? Accomplished even? In the little poll that we run, 22% replied that it depends on the game, and 13% on whatever real-life issues they are escaping from. The remaining 65% couldn't be bothered to interrupt their session for an answer. But all of them agreed that when going through the list of this Weekend Promo, they feel extremely Interplay-full. Especially after noticing the 60% discount on everything Interplay!

Widely regarded as one of the most engrossing and wonderfully chaotic space combat simulators in our star system, Freespace 2 has become part of the constellation of unmissable classics.

If you are looking for a hilarious, challenging, and gorgeous adventure to fill a weekend or four, you are looking to be Toonstruck. And once your body gets accustomed to surviving high anvil drops and cutifying beams, you'll fit right in. Balloooooon?

A unique blend of strategy and action, enhanced by an engaging plot and distinct art style. To experience it you only need to Sacrifice some of your free time and you can be certain that the gods will compensate you handsomely for that.

Are you feeling Interplay-full too? Well it's hard not to, when 30+ of gaming's shiniest diamonds go for 60% off, including Earthworm Jim 1+2, MDK, Stonekeep, Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, and many more. The promo will last until April 26, 3:59 AM UTC.
Bought the Invictus game, I promised myself I'd buy it the next time I came across it. The concept seems really cool to me, with the connection to mythology. Based on the few videos I've seen of it, it looks like something I'd enjoy.

Otherwise I have most of the games already, the ones I'm interested in. Plenty of really good ones.

darkwark: If you had to choose only 2 games from this list:

- Kingpin
- Sacrifice
- Messiah
- MDK
- MDK 2

What games you would buy?
My pick would be: MDK + Sacrifice.
They are both very unique games. MDK has a unique visual look and level design, with fun combat.
Sacrifice is difficult to learn but has great atmosphere, voice-acting and quirky gameplay. Great replay value as well.

I have not played Messiah.
I was kinda hoping we'd see Star Trek: The Next Generation: A Final Unity.

Whoops. turns out that's not by interplay despite being the same kind of game as the 25th Anniversary Edition.

I have what I need, but I recommend people pick up Freespace 2 if they haven't already :)

Fairfox: Stonekeep looks okay but a bit nerdy? It's very brown.
...That would describe, like, 60% or more of the games sold here.

popperik: Didn't we have the same interplay promo recently?

Still, those of us who joined afterwards can appreciate this promo.

What games you would buy?
Replace Kingpin with Earthworm Jim 1+2 and you have the games that catch my interest in this promo. My choice is gonna be MDK & MDK 2. First, they are the cheapest :p. MDK was very ahead of its time and when playing it 10 years or so after its release the game still impressed me. Haven't played the sequel yet and I'm hearing good things about it too, so now would be the time. Judging by the reviews GOG's Earthworm Jim is neither the best nor the most complete port, so that's out. Messiah seems to split people's opinions. The idea is very cool, but the gameplay looks kinda repetitive. I'm hearing excellent things about Sacrifice too, but strategy is not my thing, so I'm gonna pass until better discount. If you like that genre, then I agree with Ricky_Bobby that MDK + Sacrifice would be the pick.

While I am glad I picked up the Descent games in one of the interplay promos last year before they left the store, I think we need some new games from them instead of another promo. How about releasing Neuromancer here? Or is it out of their hands?

Parallax seriously needs to make a publishing branch with GOG. this is horseshit on what interplay/Titus did.

Neuromancer is a licensed game. They would need to get a new license from the author of Neuromancer, William Gibson, before they can rerelease the game. And while Interplay did get a new license to release the Star Trek games, I'm not sure whether they would find Neuromancer a profitable property in order to do so (or even if William Gibson is willing to offer them a new license in the first place).

Excuse me both: are we saying that a videogame looks nerdy?

And what else, the sky looks blue-ly?
