Up to 80% off several Summer Sale highlights: Dying Light, SOMA, Victor Vran, Kerbal Space Program, Undertale, and more!

Maybe you were binge-watching your huge backlog of TV shows, perhaps you were splashing about in some remote beach, or you were completely broke after getting yourself a brand new A/C unit to survive the heat. Whatever your reasons for missing out on these sweet Summer Sale deals, we can't let you go on living in regret. So we're bringing back the Best of Summer Sale 2016! Here's your chance to snatch any juicy deals that you missed and get your life back on track!

The zombies are dumber than you, and they can never hope to match your heavy-duty arsenal or dope parkour moves. But they've got the numbers, and when darkness falls, they've got the upper hand. Don't ever let it reach you, or this is going to be the last Dying Light you'll ever see.

Is who we are defined by memories, experience, or the way our creator meant it? To think is to exist, to have a SOMA, but if you want to continue down that path you'll need to look for answers in spooky places, populated by twisted creatures that can never find you.

Demon hunter by trade, force of destruction by necessity, loot collector by habit: Victor Vran is the ultimate monsters' bane and there's never a dull moment when slicing, dicing, and leveling up at his side!

Continue your looting spree by picking up the Best of Summer Sale 2016 that you may have missed, going for up to -80%. You can't really go wrong with Hyper Light Drifter, Shadowrun, Enter the Gungeon, Undertale, or any of the plenty other winners in here!
The promo will last until August 2, 3:59 AM UTC.
Thanx for dex & Age of Decadence x

Ashnak: Just gonna chime in to tell everyone interested in Sheltered: The game is still on version 1.0 here, while it got several patches on steam, which did a whole lot of things you will be sad to miss.

To clarify, I don't want to encourage purchases on steam.
Oh great, yet another game on GOG treated second class by the devs (and GOG of course, but they don't seem to care anyway). So I'll give it a pass until updates are on par with the Steam version *sigh*

By the way, version 1.1 was released on April 21 on Steam, current version seems to be 1.3xx.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up.
If anyone is interested in my opinion about DEX: "Aaaargh", meaning I got so infuriated over a cyberspace part in an optional mission that I uninstalled the game along with my saves. I was tempted to write a review but didnt, since my last two got eaten by the system.
What's the difference between X Rebirth and X Rebirth Upgrade? The product page for both is a cut-n-paste.

Always write your logest posts in a separate text file before posting. I learnt that the hard way, after a lot of "forum" eating. :(

Good idea. This forum is always hungry.

ymgve: Would it be possible in the future to mark "Deluxe Edition" games as owned if you already own the standard edition and the upgrade, and mark the standard/upgrade as owned if you own the Deluxe?
...
^ this. it's really really annoying, and it shouldn't be hard to implement.
Is there a wishlist entry for that?
... anyway not fixing it makes me think gog is actively trying to decieve people into buying the same stuff twice. :(

I don't know. I have good memory, and I can look up which games I own already.

ok so if gog were to remove the owned tag altogether, that wouldn't be a problem for you either? because that's what you're saying.

No, it wouldn't be a problem. Which doesn't mean I want it gone. Are you trying to demonise me?

hehe, yes I am ;) (EDIT: hokus pokus akhlathacke, into a demon duck turn laberbacke! ... there demonised! :)

but fair enough, so it doesn't bother you. that's fine.
Me, on the other hand, it does bother. a lot. so I say it.

EDIT: right, forgot to say what (new page and all, and bored as I am right now):

Please, gog, stop trying to decieve me into buying stuff I already own by intentionally not marking deluxe/complete editions as owned when they were bought via standard + upgrade path and vice versa!

Couldn't agree more - it drives me nuts the way it is at the moment.

Picked up all of the Warhammer 40k games today - very pleased :)

tfishell: Looks like a solid promo. :) Too bad no solutions were apparently found for the Warhammer games on Windows 10.

Russonc: Do the Warhammer games work on Windows 10? Seems like folks were having issues and it doesn't seem to be listed on system requirements. If yes, I'll bite.. if not.. wait

damien: I came to this thread just to ask this. I would be grateful if someone could shed some light to it
I just posted my experience with Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate and Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40k running on Windows 10 in their respective forums. For me Chaos Gate needed one simple registry fix to correct a stuttering cursor/pointer. I experienced absolutely zero issues running and playing any of the other Warhammer 40k games. I let all intro videos play to completion and played a few missions of the campaign games. If it helps, here are my PC specs:

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (v1511 - fully updated as of 30 July 2016)
Processor: Intel i7-875K overclocked to 3.85GHz
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 390 (Asus STRIX-R9390-DC3OC-8GD5-GAMING)
Graphics Driver: AMD Radeon Crimson v16.3.2 with GPU Scaling turned ON
Monitor: Dell U3415W
Screen Resolution: 3440 x 1440

thank you for your reply. actually my question was intended for Shadow of the Horned Rat. I bought it anyway and hope I won't experience any problems :)
