He was removed but I don't know for how long.

The longest I ever got was two days. I've heard of a few people getting a week. The only perm I know of is ciomalau.

Speaking of attacks, broken forums, etc. Remember how there was a bit of drama a while ago with posts being deleted, etc. Lots of text was written, lots of bile generated, lots of electrons inconvenienced.

At some point during that debacle I promised to post the source code for the tools I wrote to automatically revive deleted posts, along with some other proof of concept tools I looked into. At the time that caused another flare up of tempers with people practically soiling themselves in fear that poor old Tauto would get his hands on such evil weapons. ;)

I then left the forum for a few months to let the drama die down. And once the time came I actually did post all of what I promised to post. Right here on this very forum. And you know what happened?

Nothing. :D

ZFR is my witness. I showed him the post and he was pretty surprised that nobody even bothered. Neither the scary "trolls" nor GOG's "community manager" nor anyone at all really.

Which serves to prove a point... For all the "come at me, bro" posturing, all of the tearful drama, and all of the epic butthurts nobody actually gives a flying fork. Not GOG, not the 3.5 sane users, not the half a dozen intellectually inferior ones, not even the trolls and the spammers. So yea, this is the exact reason that nothing will ever change here.

Anyway, back to the current attack. Just wanted to mention this. Cheers!
