Chamb: Maybe not all time, but we've just updated the bestsellers listing in catalog to show titles based on their performance in past year.
Nice, this pretty similar to how I remember it anyway. Thanks.

Chamb: -- Missing gift codes / problems with gift codes after launch. This was the biggest issue that happened during the launch, which was the result of the ordering system being completely redone for the new website. The team worked hard and all of the issues regarding the gifting section were resolved within a few days after launch. That said, I would like to apologize to everyone that was affected.
Thanks a lot Chamb and the rest of the Website team for responding to the feedback and fixing all these issues. It is also reassuring to know that you guys are working to resolve the rest of the problems as well. Unfortunately there are still problems with the gifts section where a lot of the redeemed codes are missing from the list for users, for me there isn't a single redeemed code showing in the list like it used to.

Cheers muchly for the update - really nice to receive some communication on this!

Any updates for the forum side though? Fix that search function and allow ordering by date? Seeing more of your own and other user's previous post history? That sort of thing...

Chamb: -- Our biggest next step is the brand new My Account section. The plan is not only to fix all the issues that the current My Account has, but also introduce some of the requested features - like additional options to filter titles,
Actually this part doesn't sound like it goes as far as I'd hoped - I would ideally like the ability to sort games in my library into my own, custom categories
Cheers!

I think that may have been a conscious decision on their part to change the way the gift list works. I see recently redeemed games on my gift list, but not older ones. I suspect it uses a time-period filter to only show gifts redeemed in the past week or so. Personally I am fine with this, as it prevents having to hunt through a bunch of redeemeds for the remaining good codes. But it would also be nice to have a button or toggle that enables display of one's whole gifting history.

I see, well that does make sense because I remember when the site first updated and all the unredeemed codes disappeared it was still showing all the redeemed codes. I guess if it was a deliberate change by them then there isn't really a problem like I assumed. But yeah a button would be better which toggles a partial and complete list to suit a user's preferences.

Chamb: Issues solved:
-- Marking titles as owned. We launched with an imperfect solution for this and we knew that it needed improvements, but we wanted to hear your opinion. You spoke up, and since the launch, we already made 2 or 3 versions of it. Right now, in our opinion, we have what is the best possible solution, as by greying out products that you own we're taking them out of the spotlight rather than making them more prominent.
Uhm... Stupid question? Is there ANYTHING differentiating owned games from not owned games right now? Because no matter which browser I try (Chrome for Android, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and even Internet Explorer), I don't get anything marked in any way. I've checked my Gift list and it only shows unredeemed codes. The redeemed ones are nowhere to be seen.

My last redeemed code is from 1 September. Everything before, from August 15 and earlier, has received the Orwellian treatment.

ne_zavarj: Maestro card as a payment option ?
It is not here?
I was using it for years with the site? (before I finally switched to MasterCard this June) Have they disabled it?

Strange. For me, everything is displayed normally. I have attached pictures below to show you what I mean.

My only real problem with this is when highlighting an owned game - the only differentiation between owned and unowned games when highlighting them is just the game name being grayer. Everything else looks similar, and it's hard to tell from the game name alone.

Good job on the site BTW, apparently I'm in the minority of liking the new agnostic logo better :).

The oldest code that I have which is marked as Redeemed was purchased on May. 13, 2014, but it was redeemed much more recently. I'm not sure what the cutoff is, to be honest.

First of all, thanks for listening to feedback! :)

Could you please clarify what issue with gift codes was fixed exactly, and what exactly was changed by the site update? Is it by design that older redeemed gifts are not displayed anymore? I can only see a few unredeemed gifts in my account, and I'm also missing at least one among them (for Psychonauts, bought on 23rd of February 2011). I had given the code to a friend, so there's a small change he redeemed it, but I think it very unlikely to coincide with the site update, as it had remained untouched for more than three years and was still displayed as unredeemed before the site update ... (I haven't heard from that friend yet.)
