this is the kind of things that infuriate me !

1) there should be a catalog subsection or a small website page in the bottom page with up-to-date "games removal" from catalog with timestamp... it would be appreciated to have some transparency and disclosure. I don't ask the reasons of the removal, just the fact it was here and now it's gone

2) though it is not a good example for pny island, i find it stupid to delete/remove the old catalog page; there should be a cached version of it, not accessible via the regular catalog, for people who already own the removed games !!!

why ? simply because the library has a dropdown menu item called "store page", and this page has useful information on it, even if game was removed, such as devs/publishers, date of release, but also and most importantly: "minimum / recommended requirements" ! here as i said, pony island ain't the best example for that as the requirements for it are very low... but some games who were removed in the past had meaningful data in this store page

So thank you GOG, stop sneaking on us and removing catalog titles with opac and obscure behavior, provide information about it somewhere, and also, don't let this removal deny useful stuff from previous owners, damnit !

Interesting. Were both also listed here on GOG? There's no GOGWiki page for the game, so no way to check it now.

If BulkyPix went bankrupt in August, who was GOG sending the revenue from August till now?

If it's actually missing from someone and an account refresh doesn't bring it back, they should contact support to have it put back.

Can you name any store (not just game stores), digital or physical, that has done anything of the kind?

You can still see the gamecard on the Internet Archive. It just says "Daniel Mullins Games / Plug In Digital".

Looks like Plug In Digital is the one collecting the revenue from the beginning. which would explain the tweet better, and GOG got caught up in the middle of an "internal" issue between developer and publisher.

Interestingly, MaGog lists the game as self-published.

I suspect it's because either people didn't click on the link or aren't familiar with rickrolling.

The Archive.org cached version of the game page linked much earlier in this thread (bottom of page 1, I think?) also displayed "Daniel Mullins Games/Daniel Mullins Games", so it must have gotten changed at some point.

Just this, and I find it more annoying because it could be easily implemented.

I checked the "What did just update" thread, but couldn't find when MaGog reported the change.
