GOG got hit pretty hard now... strange really. Reminds me of all these random calls Norway's been hit with in the past months from different support techs and only USA and Australia was more gullible/naive according to some research. Fascinating actually, but it does make one wonder how naive people really can be.

random shenanigans + lack of moderators. GaG team is really small, and mostly feature people from one (polish) timezone. So - its not that hard to flood forums with bs, if somebody wish to do so.
Back in days when I was a moderator of private server of one niche mmo - we had similar issues. Im surprised that this person didnt make use of ion cannon yet (to completely match the style of outraged kid). Or did he? (it explains recent captcha issues on login)

Not the same name, he was stealing avatars but different names eg. tiniestD instead of TinyE, Lard_Kane instead of Lord_Kane, Poopyappletree instead of poppyappletree.

Even with case sensitive no systems allow for the exactly the same username AND id number. If he did try to change it to all of these usernames it wouldn't have worked, that's why you see a tiny difference in the name.

No need to worry about safety of your account I think, the troll is just making similarly looking nicknames. You can see a clone of yours in the attached screenshot in the first post.

I got two ......from guy Gekko_Decko. I also got message from poopyappletree, but only message I got was "How are you" and I sensed somethign fishy so I didn't respond.
