drmike: Just as a teaching moment, for many of the shortners like bit.ly, if you stick a plus sign at the end of the URL, it'll take you to a landing page so you can see url and a screenshot of where you wind up.

For example:

Kind of depressing for me to think about, but the fact is, if this is the same guy, and I think it is, who has been trolling/doxing/emailing me, then booting me from the forum might get him to leave everyone else alone.

Meh. I can just disable chat for a while. Not a big deal.

For what it's worth, I got a link, too. Also, earlier was told I'm a 'cuck'. I think it spelled "cook" wrong. ; ) Or "duck". Which makes about as much sense.

or you can always use Unshorten.link that is an extension for chrome and you see where the link is sending you
