gogtrial34987: Meh, not a single Linux game in this sale.

Guess it's true; us Linux users are all a bunch of peace-loving hippies. And we have (lack of a small segment of) computer games to thank for it! ;P
Just take a huge fleet to the Xenon home sector and be friendly with them!

Which reminds me of the time when I took my Skirnir loaded with Shadow missiles through all the Xenon sectors one by one :D. For those who don't know, the Skirnir is a missile frigatte and the Shadow missile is basically the "I Win" button of X3:TC and only the Skirnir can launch then effectively. Luckily it's pretty hard to obtain the Skirnir without cheating.

They (the devs, Egosoft) threw combat balance to the wind when they made X3:TC so if or when one wants to be super powerful, one can. I was afraid I would dislike that part when coming from X3:R (previous game) but it bothers me surprisingly little. Wiki says no Ghoul factories in X3:TC but in the addon X3:AP there is.

I had to correct myself. Shadow missiles were the uber powerful ones. Reunion also had a great player ship, the Hyperion. But yeah, it was a bit better balanced. In AP they nerfed Shadow missiles because 6 million damage per missile was a tad too much :).

Which of the Men of War games is the least difficult one?

Enebias: A recommendation: get Silent Storm! It is a fantastic game, a bit like X-Com in a WWII setting (...)
Listen to what Enebias said, it's a great game and totally second it. Also, do check out Blitzkrieg if you haven't done so. ;)
Thank you for free games, always!
