Hello!

My name is Matt and I am a huge dungeon-crawl RPG fan, and I really love Elminage Gothic. I recently started a petition to ask Ghostlight Games to translate all Elminage games, new and old, going forward!

These games are the seminal dungeon-crawl RPGs for the modern generation. They are our Wizardry games. We need them all to be translated and on PC, as they should be!

I'm all for having more Elminage games translated but my question is if we have any reason to believe that Ghostlight would not translate and publish them given the opportunity?
Like, do we really have to change their minds about this?

I'm simply trying to bring this to their attention that people *are* interested in this.

I talk to Ross from Ghostlight a lot on Twitter. I have a feeling that they would listen if we got enough signatures showing support for this idea. It's just a hunch, really, but it's worth a shot, right? Might as well get a bunch of people to sign, show it to Ghostlight and ask that they take action on it.

So far, Ross has been re-tweeting the petition for me, so maybe that is a good sign as well. We'll see. =)

Indeed, we just need to show that there is interest for other Elminage games.

I so much want to play Elminage 3 as it got some unusual approach to the genre, as well as Elminage 2 for some very unusual bosses (that one huge cat with crown was so adorable). I feel indifferent to Elminage: Another Story, but would buy that as well, as there is never enough such games for PC.

Glad you agree, sir! Would also love for Ghostlight to pick up any Elminage games going forward as well. If more are to be made, we need them on PC, in English. =)

Quick update. 45 supporters thus far! Sweet! Please, if you want to help this grow, tell a friend or someone you know online to sign it. I know you guys use Steam and have a large Steam friends list, so please consider going through it and asking people to sign! The more signatures we get, the better chance this can actually happen, but it's up to all of you out there in internet land to start spreading the word! :)

I haven't delved deep into this series, but it's my understanding that the best ones still haven't left Japan. Gothic appears to be a hate-it-or-love-it affair being the most hardcore of the series, so I don't really understand why they decided to go for that instead of the ones that are more palatable.

Elminage: Original for PSP was fantastic so I'm all for getting the rest.

Personally, I'm not the sort of person who would sign an online petition, but I would buy the games if released here. (Assuming they work on WINE or have native Linux versions)

Of course, I would also like to see Wizardry 1-5 here.

You have to sign the petition to let your voice be heard. Otherwise, Ghostlight will never know that you will buy the game when it's released!

Would love see Wizardry games as well, but Elminage *is* the modern day Wizardry! Which is why we need those games translated and on PC where they belong! =)
