BenKii: (I've been giving our next move some thought and I think I want to try and persuade the guards to move off to that undead pit at C52. It will be a dice roll to determine if successful and, who knows, maybe bonus points for being creative. But if it ends up failing Durik can sneak up behind and bonk the half orc guard on the head while Gilius can use his blow darts to knock out the human guard. If Gilius doesn't have tranq darts then he can borrow my sleep potion and dip his darts in that. According to our GM, my potion is good for 4 darts. I suppose Bellandra can be another back up option to knock out any guard that didn't get a big enough kick in the head. After that we can inspect the house from all 4 sides and find the best way to enter. Any suggestions or changes to the plan?)
Persuasion could work, but guards will come back at some point.
And I'm not sure if Durik is too good at sneaking.
Maybe the darts option is the best one.
And if it fails we'll rush to bonk the guards?

(Perhaps the guards may come back after some time but I'm hoping we'll be in and out of this house before that happens. Plus, persuasion would be a free chance to get them to leave without a fight. Those darts and my sleep potion are a limited quantity. Trying to conserve on resources and only use if we have to. So that was why I thought: Persuade first, then darts, then bonk if all else fails.)

Ok, then give it a go.
Do you want Durik to join you, sneak behind or what?

(I'd say to stay close but out of sight and be ready to strike if the talking fails. Hopefully Pouyou-pouyou is able to sign in before Monday to post if he'll use the darts. So now it is time to write up my actions.)
Devin, inside Prison: Waning crescent moon proper. The footsteps are humanish, not as heavy as a half-orc's, hard soled boots. They are not pausing, but steadily climbing stairs to the level just below, not hurrying. Your cat is barely in range; he has seen the Prison and Carver teams land, nothing unusual at the warehouse or fluyt, there is movement at C52 but too many trees in the way to see clearly.

I know what you're thinking and you'll have to choose. It's the waning crescent. Devin can't be in both places, there is at least one undead here and movement at C52. Yes, you can send the cat in to distract but then you lose your watcher.
Captain's Log Mission 5 - Turn 1:
Myself, Bellandra, Durik, and Gillius have landed safely and are hidden by some bushes by the Carver's House. Two guards were patrolling around the building. From what I've been told, my companions have Wanted Posters across this entire city. They would be recognized in seconds by these guards. However, no one knows who I am giving me an advantage. As a Starfleet officer, I've vowed to only use lethal force if absolutely necessary. I believe I may be able to convince these guards to move to a new location. If all else fails then a swift blow to the head will be in order.

BenKii directs his attention to his companions in a hushed voice. "Gentlemen... and lady, these men don't know my face. I will try using my Captain's charm to see if I can't convince them to abandon their post." He looks to Gilius and hands him his sleep potion, "In the event I fail, I want you, Gilius, to take this sleep potion and use it with your blow darts to knock out those guards." Finally he looks to Bellandra and Durik, "If those darts fail, then I'm relying on you two to knock out those guards with your blunt weapons or bare fists. No need for bloodshed when it isn't necessary. Stay close and be ready to strike if it all goes bad. Wish me luck."

BenKii stood up, adjusted his hat, and did a little pull down tug on his shirt before walking towards the front of the house where the human guard was located and addressed him, "Oi! What are ye two doing 'ere? I was ordered ta guard this 'ere house. The two of ye are supposed to be dealing with all the ruckus in town. They be hooting an hollering like crazy over there. Did the hightower captain mix up our orders again? Ye all hurry up and git over there and I won't say nothing. We can't afford to have anymore mistakes after those blasted pirates caught us with our pants down or the Commodore will have all our heads."

BenKii gives Gilius his Sleep Potion and instructs him to use it on the guards if his persuasion fails. Then instructs Bellandra and Durik to stay close and knock out guards if sleep darts fail. He walks to the human guard around the front of the house and attempts to persuade him and the orc guard who is patrolling around the house to go to town to deal with all the unruly townsfolk. If his persuasion fails, and is still allowed to act, he will attempt to punch out whatever guard is not knocked out by either the stun darts, Durik, or Bellandra.

BenKii: Captain's Log Mission 5 - Turn 1:
Two guards were patrolling around the building...

BenKii stood up, adjusted his hat, and did a little pull down tug on his uniform ...
Corrections for clarity -
Only 1 guard is patrolling, the half-orc. The human voice came from the front, probably by the door, revealed by the half-orc grunting something to him as he passed by on his patrol.

Uniform? When I asked you said your ship replicated appropriate period garb, so a typical long coat, shirt, breeches, boots and hat. The guards do wear uniform leather armor and tabards. Durik has the half-orc leather armor that matches but not the tabard. The Ship has the human guard captain armor and tabard, which Bellandra has worn before as a disguise, but that is still currently in a chest on the Ship.

Misspoke. I was referring to just what I was wearing not any specific uniform. And in the case of my post, I'll edit it to say I approach the human guard around front because he's most likely the one in charge.

Thanks. You had me confused there. I think Cliodhna would have noticed and dressed Captain BenKii appropriately if he had still been in his Starfleet uniform. Although, most of what we have extra is foppish vampirate clothing! :P

Wait a second, there's a problem.
The humans in this city worked with undeads before, so they probably won't care about them and will see you as suspicious.

Also, new strategy if we want to save the darts:
1- Durik can approach the patrolling half-orc from behind (he's less suspicious, since he has the Harbor Watch armor).
2- he can bonk him and grab+wear his tabard (if that fails, Dakka will entrap him silently).
3- then he can sneak behind the human guard and knockout him too (darts if that fails).

I'll let you decide as a captain or we'll discuss plans forever hehe

Once the preparations are complete and the plan is agreed upon, Gilius agrees to join team 1 to go for the carver's house (C74).

After getting on Zephyr together with BenKii, Bellandra and Durik, he tries to scan the surroundings for potential other flying creatures in the sky and around them, which could spot them and ruin their infiltration.
He also tries if he can spot anything (undead ?) in the C52 building before landing.

Once on the ground, Gilius uses his cursed cudgel to command the vegetation around them to provide concealment for them, and especially Zephyr while he stands waiting.

After listening to BenKii's suggestions, Gilius answers "Errr, I don't particularly like the idea o' tryin' to smooth-talk them. If it fails, we be in big trouble. I'd rather pick them one by one with me blowdart while they be separated. By the way, thank ye fer yer sleepin' potion ! That will be very useful !"
After pausing for a few seconds, he adds : "Allright, if ye really want to try that, we'll do it yer way, except one thin' : rather than ask'em to go east, ask'em to go to 'elp maintain order in the town. It should make more sense."
However, while BenKii is going for the guard, Gilius maneuvers hidden in the bushes, so that his line of sight to the guard is not blocked by him while he is moving forward. Also, he prepares his blowgun with a sleeping dart and aims at the guard, ready to fire at him instantly if anything goes wrong with BenKii.
If Gilius fires a shot, he will immediately dip and load another dart and be ready to fire at the second guard, should he pop up (or be there too).

If things go smooth, Gilius will grab the guards bodies and drag them to the bushes to hide them. Also, he will occasionally take a glance at the C52 building for potential movement, and to the other team to check on them.

(That makes more sense. I'll edit my original post. Also, to Durik, wait to see what happens with persuasion to see if both leave. Then go for the orc if it fails.)
After landing, Count crouches behind the bush and observes the entrance to the prison and its surroundings. After the merry company enters the building, he communicates to the team: "Let's give 'em twelve minutes."

He will move to the entrance when there is no danger in sight and either of these happens first:
- they got the signal to come in
- a fight broke out inside
- somebody else already moved
- twelve minutes have passed

How would he know when twelve minutes have passed, you may ask? He will COUNT the seconds.

When inside, assuming everything went according to the plan and guards are asleep, he will seek a way down to the dungeon. In the strictly hypothetical possibility of getting a hint about imminent danger coming from any direction, he will prepare an ambush by hiding next to doorway in order to surprise whoever passes by. If it's just one person, he should try make them submit under the persuasive touch of cold steel and extract information out of them. It it's a monster, he should kill it immediately. If it's more than one being, he should have support of other team members in doing an ambush but still will try to take one person alive if possible.
Gilius: While on Zephyr you scan the other flying creatures in the sky and around you and try to spot any undead in the C52 building. (roll dice*2) You notice several bats flying around. They look like they are chasing insects. One is darting around over the prison and the prison team, another flies over the trees in your landing area before darting back towards the trees to the east, another darts low and disappears into the trees near C52 and a fourth is darting over the trees near the warehouse by the Smuggler's Dock and the fluyt ship. You see no undead specifically, but there is slight movement at C52, which is an old building that vines have overgrown and looks at like it's been possibly abandoned.

Count Karnstein: (roll dice) As you near the prison there is a strange feeling in the back of your mind, like a light seductive caress.
Why in the bleedin' blazes do I suddenly feel seductive caress? That tea was s'ppose to keep me NOT on fire. Argy will have some 'splaining to do..."
