renew: Could it be possible to show a version number or the upload date of games/extras I want to download. Currently I have no idea whether the version I have already downloaded is the latest one.

I could once in a while (re)download all my games, but doing this just to see if my downloads are up to date seems a waste of my time and GOG's server capacity.

I still wish GOG would put the game's own version number in the installer's filename. It's always so confusing that the numbers are only based off of GOG's versions.

This is a problem worth bumping. They should show installer version and game version in account library so you can easily differentiate when a new update arrives.

I'm also agree that is very confusing !
It's just a question of will to show the GOG installer version AND the game version.

While I generally dislike necro'd threads, this is also one of my pet peeves. For the love of all that is good, make the versions match the game's latest patch version....
