Greetings:

As you may or may not remember, a few weeks ago SCPM had a The "Subtitle a Game" Giveaway located here:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_subtitle_a_game_giveaway/

I screwed up and got confused with the pencil and paper RPG Shadowrun and received the Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines game. I've already contacted SCPM and he or she suggested that I give away the game if I didn't want it. I've tried to contact a few of the folks who didn't win and, to be honest, I'm twiddling my thumbs here.

So I'm just going to give the game a way with a giveaway.

To enter the contest you have to do two of the following three things.

- Say you're in.

- Prove or disprove Hodge conjecture.

- Tell a funny cat/ dog/ squirrel/ mother in law story.

Try not to dupe previous stories or proofs here.

Going to run it to at least Wednesday. Finish time depends on my office hours that day which I won't know until the morning.

Winner will be randomly picked based on post number in this thread.

While rep isn't that important around here, past experience may be taken into account.

Previous gifting may also be taking into account.

And if you upvote, I would rather you upvote SCPM's original thread.

Game: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Thank you
I'm in.

If I could prove Hodge's conjecture, I'd collect the $1 million prize.

So, here's a funny cat story. My cat Tigger likes to sit on the mantle over the door, and anyone who walks through gets batted at. Once he lost his balance swatting at my sister, and fell off. She shrieked, and he just sauntered off like nothing happened.
not in thx for giveaway
I can prove the Hodge conjecture, but I´m not in. Already have the game.

Thank you
I'm in and I... noted that I have more sad stories with cats and dogs than funnies ones. Well, I will make a effort to remember one funny... There was a time when I tryed to call a cat as if it were a dog... No, that is not funny...

Well, that is really hard. But the other option doesn't seems possible.

Let's try this: in the school days, I was coming back with some classmates and I saw a little dog barking through a gate with railings and decided to show off my courage puting my foot next to it, but the dog bitten my shoes, I lost equilibrium and fell, while everyone started laughing. Of course I became ashamed, but soon enough I started to laugh too.
Meow!

Not in as this is the most expensive game I have ever bought on GOG.

Something funny happend just half an hour ago: The cat had found a mouse and hunted it and the poor mouse hid under a hoover and the cat was walking around it annoyed. I went to see what the mewing was about and thought I would help the cat so lifted the hoover but there was no mouse under it??? Then a bright insight struck me and set the hoover on max effect and turned it on. A good resounding PLOP was heard; presumably from the poor mouse being sucked into the dust coillector :-D
:))

So not only that I was the first to post in SCPM's giveaway saying that I was in for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, only to end up the 23rd out of the 20 winners, but you also missed my post when you tried contacting the other people that didn't win. I can't wait for this month to end, I've been having an unbelievable string of bad luck.

Thank you for organizing this giveaway, drmike! +1

Not in, as I've bought more games that I should have, during the Black Friday sale. Good luck to the participants.

Send me the proof, then I'll send you an equivalent proof that P=NP.

I could do that, but than you would check the correctness of my proof and see, that it wasn´t easy to solve, what in the end would disprove your proof of P=NP.
not in! +1! :D

Damn. You're right. And thus we miss out on 2 million US$!

The mathematics institute should just trust us and give us the money. No need to investigate further :)

Thank you
Yeah I'm in(That's what he said, hey-oh!)

I would provide proof, but The Institute told me not to, sorry.

My cat fell asleep headfirst in her food bow and after a while started sleepeating.
I'm in.

I'm tired of proving it. I won't do it again. 12 times are enough.

Funny (mandatory) story: So, few years ago during summer my brother got a dog (german shepard) and she was only 2 months old at the time (with ears of a 5 year old dog). Then her first winter came and naturally, as every other dog, she was amazed by snow. She was really curious about it, but didn't want to touch it. My brother decided to just grab her and put her in snow. Plot twist: The snow was 30 centimeters (12 inches) deep and she was nowhere that tall. It ended up with her being completely in snow, unable to move and the only part of her that we could see were her ears.
Alas, I'm 0 for 3.

but +1 for the GA! It's always best the second time around.
