... so, historically, before the US gained significance, how did the people in your country read the clock? I am just curious.
LOL perhaps we read the clock before the US gained significance? I looked and it seems no one knows...maybe this can shed some light on it...

I remember being briefed to use that when i was working under someone at a computer company, so he could sort his mail by subject and know when the emails came in for his own record keeping.
