escapist23: hi all, I always preferred consoles to the PC, for games, because I find a console controller a million times more intuitive than a PC keyboard. I am thinking to get the GOG Dragon's Age Ultimate package. I played the PC version years ago and liked it, then wanted to play the Prisoner package thing (don't know what it's called) but I gave up because the installation gave me problems.

I have now bought a usb controller for the PC, similar to the ones used on consoles. Would that setup work well with PC rpgs? i.e. do I still need the PC keyboard, or can I access all I need from the controller, such as menus etc? thanks
